A word of advice for me?

I went out lunch with my supervisor one day. He told me a lot of things.

Asking me to mix less with this 2 persons. One already divorced and another is unattached (now i guess she already 30++). He said if i mix with them, i wun be able to find my life partner. Well, i told him not to worry as i dun like mixing with them. Anything that i said, i have to be very careful. Otherwise, words will spread to the CEO and my reputation will gone to drains. With such colleagues, how can i not beware?

So the reason of blogging?

I know some of the new frenz i make recently has started to read my blog. N some of my guys frenz asked, "Y i blog?"

Not many pple like to hear you complain. Not many pple is willing to hear you complain.

Sometimes, when u are sad, u might influence the pple's mood. If i am unhappy, i try to keep it within myself, especially work. I dun like to explain here and there, which is often misunderstood by a lot of frenz. I dun like to explain. I just feel that the truth will be out one day. Or rather, some pple just dun trust u. So, no matter how much u explain or how hard u explain, they just simply dun listen.

So y not express it in the blog? More ever it is up to that person to read. She/He can simply close the blog if they find it boring.

I can say anything i wan it here. No one will give me that-oh-u-always-complain-the-same-thing-again look or oh-u-miss-him-again look or can-u-stop-talking-abt-him?

Blog is the onli place where i can express myself. Even in front of pple, i tend to talk less abt myself.

6 years ago, when i was in year one, i used to interact with a guy, J. He was my buddy and we used to chat on the phone. I can simply guess his mind, but he can't guess what is in on my mind. But after we graduate, we only contact each other thru msn and only sms me to wish me on my birthday. Then he went over to UK to study and no more birthday sms from him. Miss his birthday sms since he left for UK.

3 years ago, i get to know this "god brother". I was behind him all the way to chase a gal and end falling in love with him when i know nothing will come out of this. I could guess what is on his mind. And surprisingly, he could understand what i am thinking without me expressing myself. One year ago, he manage to chase after the gal of his dream and from there, no more contact except once in a while we do chat in msn.

I beginning more n more quiet in my thinking. Dun like to express myself but working hard to be a better person instead. I know it is hard, but i just try.

Huh?

I went for the Natas fair with jes, mervin. They arranged to meet together with Louis and nelson. It's my first time meeting up with louis and nelson. SO who are they?

Louis, jes suspected is the korean guy that we met at the ISM lesson. Charming, i will say. Thinking that louis might not be that guy, i wasn't in the high hope. However, it turn out to be him.

Actually, i quite happy to know him. To know a shuai ge is my blessing. Even though he just a frenz, but i just happy enough to get to know him.

In my heart, I wish he is my bf. A guy who look like quite stable, well-planned and those presentable guy. This is the type of boyfrenz that i wish to look for. He doesn't look like the type who has a honey-lipped guy nor the type who know how to give surprise. But well, a gal wish to have a stable guy, aren't it?

All of us was trying to get the cheapest deal for the airticket and we quickly booked for the tickets when we hear that the tickets was almost fully booked. The cost for Emirates was $680 and with taxes which total the cost to $913.

Since Citibank was having promotion, so i decided to use it. After settling with the payment, all of us walked out together. Then someone called Nelson and ask him to collect his free gift. Thinking onli UOB got free gift, the rest waiting for Nelson and Mervin to come back.

When both of them came back, they told us visa could get free gift! So, jes and I went in to take our free gift. When we came out, Louis and Jonathan went in to change the name of the air ticket which they printed wrongly.

When Jonathan came out, I asked Jonathan where is Louis? He said that Louis was getting lucky draw from citibank. Huh? I quickly dashed in and find him. Louis helped me to claim.

While queuing up, I asked him to collect the free bag while i continue to queue for the lucky draw. Hoping that he could quickly get his free bag. I was a bit panic that he might have to re-queue, fortunately, he came back in time.

I let him claim his lucky draw coupons first. then followed by me. The lady said, "Ur bf so nice. He waiting for you."
"huh? He's not my bf. I just get to know him today."
"oh izzit?"
"ya"

When i turned back, he was in another queue. So i just joined him without bothering abt the pple behind him.
"Do you need a pen?" he said.
"Dun need. my bag have."

It was heavy to carry that free bag on my hand. Then me and him kept writing the lucky draw coupons while waiting to play the small mini wheel-of-fortune game. "wow, so many lucky draw coupons!" "Ya, she give me one book!" he said. "wow so many." My pen dropped and he looked behind. Quickly pick up the pen and said, "Yeah, i finally finish writing". "So fast?" he said. "Ya." He got body spa for ladies and a body shop premium package. I got a radio massager and he said, "Wow, better than mine."
I just smiled. I waited for him to fill in his coupon and we quickly dumped our lucky draw form to the variety box where the box labelled some of the destination to certain countries like Melbourne, Tokyo, Hong Kong, etc.

I saw him putting the coupon into Melbourne and some other countries. But none was in the Japan and Hong Kong. So i asked, "Eh, how come u not putting some into Japan or Hong Kong?"
"I went to Tokyo before liao. Just back from Tokyo. I went to Hong Kong before liao."
"oh, u went there? SO good. HOw come go there? For holiday or business"
"Company sent me for training."
"wow.... so shiok"

We went out together and i told jes to go for the lucky draw + mini game. So she got the toiletries bag.

After that, we went off to have dinner while Nelson and Jonathan went back home. We went to have porridge at outram area. I wasn't very hungry, so end up i pass half of the porridge to Mervin while jes pass some of it to Louis. We chatted and have some joke.

After that, i was sent home by Mervin.

Objection!

Hm... seems like nowadays the parents will object their daughter to be certain type of bf. One such case is as below:

Her daughter had a bf and she didn't went home one day. Due to my supervisor who accidentally leak out the information of our office address, her father came to the office to look for her. Initially if my supervisor never pass the address, her father wun even know where she is working as we had moved our office and all her father had was the old address.

We came to realise that y her father object her from dating this guy. It was becoz of his occupation. He was a Dispatch Boy. Oh well, if i were her parents, i will sure object. But then my supervisor said, "You got to think of her level of education. She dun even had a diploma and you think she can choose those bf who working as manager or high-level post?"

I replied, "You never know mah. Scarli she found one when she working?"

"ya but hard lor. Pple will choose the same level of education mah."

Ya, it's quite true. If a guy who had a Bachelor, will he ever choose a lady who is much lower education? Hm... maybe some could accept, but most of us can't!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hahaha... this is the first time i heard this story and i kept laughing non-stop. Amusing...And the story goes like:

A colleague of mine went to Zouk at the age of 17. Her mother was very angry when she knows about it. So her mother, who is wearing a pajamas, a very big sized clothes, walked into Zouk with a big broom on one of the hand searching for her. And if she dun go home, she going to chase her out of the Zouk with her broom! Hahahaha. I really simply can't believe. Oh my god!!!!! Her mother really wearing a big pajamas and walked into ZOUK with BROOM!

2nd Bowling Practise

Some of them are late for practise. The practise started at 7.30pm and they turned up at 8.30pm where we already played 2 games.

After playing the 3rd games, they intend to extend another games. After that, the rest of them planned to go KTV session.

My malay colleague insisted on leaving, so I went off with her. Little did I know that she live near me. And to think we never seen each other once. And to think 1 been living there for almost 3 years and she, living there for almost 5 years! Gosh. We never bumped into each other for once!

I realised her husband really dotes on her. While on the train, her husband will call her whereabout and will pick her up at the mrt train just to walk back home together. And every morning, he will send her to the mrt train. And he did that every day! Wow... what a sweet husband. And the thing is they have been married for about 13 years!

Blackouts

Oh cool.... Was it cool? Hm....

It started at about 11.45pm when we are ready to go for lunch on 12 sharp. The whole office really blackout. Quickly, we called for the maintenance guy of this building.

He came and boot up the electricity. But soon, the case of power-trip began. Server is down and we called this company to check. It seems ages to get this company to send some guys over to check. Every mins to us is money-generating.

They soon came and check each stations.

S (jokingly, telling A): Must be you who is giving us power-trip.
A: No leh.
S: you just bought a labtop leh. Must be labtop giving us problem. wait CEO know that it your newly bought labtop ah! then ceo sure said, "Angie ah, angie ah"
A: haiz....
S: labtop lah. cannot use liao lor.
A: labtop too cheap, that y cause power-trip.

All the extension cords, we were planning to get a new one as the recent extension cords was not approved by TAS. The company staff suspect the problem lies on the unreliable extension cords.

They left after everything was ok. After an hrs or so, the problem came back again! This time without hesitation, we called this company AGAIN! It was a diff guy! After looking at the switch board, he know which station is giving the problem. And the answer is the water dispenser! No wonder the cable was having some cuts.

It was about 5 pm when everything was up. All the agents went off at around 4.30pm. While we are waiting for the problem to be resolved, all of us were chit-chatting. Shiok.

But one of the agents said: if it happened tomolo, shiok leh.

After tat, I meet L up for dinner. Wow... Isetan having private sales exclusively for members. Everything or almost all things were discount at 30%. Coolz. Yet, i didn't buy ANYTHING AT ALL. Perhaps, i wasn't quite in a mood to shop bah.

Baby boy first year old

went to sakae sushi to have dinner with J, her mother and L. It was nice to catch up with them as I could see J's baby boy getting older by each year and L to get ROM soon.

I love to chit-chat with them and never fails to attend L's invitation to outings unless I got urgent stuff on hand. As for J, I find her pathetic.

Her baby boy was smart. Keep touching things here and there, and his best shot was to throw things. And the thing is a plastic bottle!

The moment i carried him, he cried immediately. No choice but to hear his wailing as his mother need the ladies urgently. He doesn't like stranger to carry him. Oh my, keep asking for his mother..... Then came his grandmother who quickly carried him away from my hand and still, he won't stop crying. After his grandmother pacifies him, he stop crying and waited patiently for his mother.

His mother came out of the cubicles and his hand reached out for her. Seem like it is hard to carry him in my hands!

SUCKS! What is this briefing? Might as well send email to ask pple to go over to swansea!

Bowling

I was invited to join for the call centre Bowling tournament which will be taking place on the 8th of April.

Pressure was on me and i didn't touch bowling for about 1 year? 2 years? I couldn't really recall when was the last time i played.

Haha... as much as i guessed it. My first score was indeed ZERO.

I need lots of pratices. I dun wish to disgrace myself at the tournament when pple will stare at me and said, "wow, look at her. Her bowling sucks and she still participate? OMG!"

I saw a young boy, about the age of 5, is learning to bowl. And without any adult supervsion. Coolz. He's my idol. He played not bad as for the age of 5 and have a posture for aiming at the pin. My motivation.... hahaha...

Then some uncle also came to play bowling. One of my colleague said, "Hey, look, look at him. You see the way he play? Like dancing like that!"

hahahaha, oh ya, really like dancing.

When we finished our game, D and S asked me to go for supper with them. Haiz... i dun wish to follow but it seem like no choice as the rest went off in couple.

I feel uncomfortable with them. Not that they are unfriendly. But there is always a gap that i need to beware them. They love to criticize pple, command pple to do stuff for them, complain everything, to the BIG boss, our CEO!

Yes, i have to be careful of the way i speak to them! N could only listen to their complaints. Sometimes, i feel tiring...
