Think today is the last day of UK fun fair which is located at woodlands. I didn't get to go as I couldn't find any one at the last mins. My sister couldn't sit for her health is not good these few days.
I remember there's one weekend when my parents and my sister went there to watch. We didn't went in as my sister dun feel like going for the rides. At the moment of time, I remember 2 years ago, I went for these rides with him. It was really sweet. I could remember some exact details. For example, we were supposed to go there and join their frenz. As we were late ( which the truth is I am the one who is late), we went for the rides by ourselves! Then saw his best gal frenz looking for him. First time i saw her and realised, I can sense that she do have feelings for him.
She left us alone by joining her frenz. At that moment, he and I wasn't really close and more-ever, we are those "I-just-know-you" colleagues.
And the UK extra token that we had (when we exchanged the money for the token, the person gave us extra token), I wondered, did he still keep it?
I remember one year back, he show me the token and i asked him, "What's that?"
Him: that UK fun fair token leh! you forget liao ah?
Me: oh ya hor
It really slipped off my mind at that moment. But now, it is always in my mind forever.
I got my increment. Though the sum was very little but well, at least there's a increment.
We got to sign another contract. Seems like the contact has a little hidden meaning. We had to follow the staff handbook benefit. Previously, the handbook listed that for every 5 years service, the staff will get $10k. But now, I realised i do not fit into tat category becoz i was join in during the month of October and the rules started at june.
Alrite, that's pretty ok. But when i heard another news that they might not release bonus for the next coming year, i was like !@#@$#$#%#$%$.
IT Manager: I think there will be something that will make you stay for years. Surely there will be.
Me: ya
i was thinking u wait long long. Once get my degree, i will change job to get more pay with BONUS. hahahhaah
all the while, i kept saying ya to whatever IT Manager as i am not interested to chat with him.
Last conversation was:
IT Manager: I see you dun have any conflict with other colleagues. So far so good, rite?
Me: ya.
Hahahah... everything ya ya ya.... and that's the end.
Went to my ex-colleague house to take ang bao. Then followed by majhong. Lost about $17 initially. One of my ex-colleague went off and 3 of us went ahead with 3-player majhong.
To my surprise, i won 7 consecutive games and total winnings i got was $60++.
Eerie becoz i kept having "zi mo".
2 ex-colleagues kept saying, "Please dun win or not we can't go for dinner!"
hahhahaha
in the end we went dinner at Pasir Panjang Road at about 9pm where we ordered Escargots, fresh Oysters, etc...
Yummy..... Escargots was the best!
Received early Vday sms from J**** at about 1++am.
The appraisal between my colleague, Michael and IT Manager seem long. Could you believe it? It's 3 hours leh! Break the whole record of the company.
When Michael came back, I asked him wat did the IT manager say?
Mic: talk about himself lor. How he survive in this company. How he manage the company la, etc...
And the true story was he doesn't do anything to help us! Wat a boss.....
Thought I could simply just surf the net in the office for just half a day and knock off.
But I was WRONG! One of the staff in malaysia called me for help to delete away those duplicate records in the database. N the whole morning i was panic as the staff in malaysia will complain to the CEO if i did delete the records accidentally. And at that time, i was thinking either i might be fired or retrenched.
I was about to give up, tender my resignation letter and leave. But my mind was thinking, if i quit now, can i find a job later as i need the money to survive?
Anyway, I just tried to find the problem that causing it. CEO came to my table and asked if i need his help.
Me (with a smile): I try first.
I was nearly giving up and seek help from CEO. A help from him is better since if anything wrong, he will be the one who teaches me how to delete away duplicate records.
Couldnt find him and decided to try again. And this time, I found out the solution.
The solution was indeed stupid. The staff in malaysia give the wrong information and quickly made a call to them, telling them that the record does not have any duplicate at all.
Then the staff in malaysia say, "oh maybe they make a mistake"
Duhz... waste my time.
Then I went to report to CEO when he pass me ang bao.
He make a call personally to malaysia. Dunno wat they talk but my name was mentioned. Well, i didnt bother. The fault wasn't lie on me. I dun care.
IT manager came to me and said: Boss wanna see you.
Me: regarding?
IT manager: the network in malaysia
Me: AH? I dun know about network. Boss wan me to participate in the meeting or is you who wan me to participate in the meeting?
IT manager: Is Boss. You dun know abt the network or are you too modest?
Me: I really dunno about the network. Maybe you can ask Michael to participate the meeting.
Michael was on the line. We waited for a while.
IT manager: hm. Y not we go in first?
We went to find CEO. The moment he put down the phone, he quickly took a seat at the round table.
Me: I dunno anything abt the network. Maybe you can approach Michael.
Boss: Oh...
Me: Sorry.
IT manager: then is ok. Happy new year.
Boss: Happy new year.
I walked back to my table, told my colleague, Michael that the boss might wanna look for him. But he so busy till he doesn't have time to find boss.
I left office around 2pm where most of the staff left at 1pm. I was thinking.... how come boss wanna look for me abt network when i doesn't even know a single thing? Wat give him the impression that i am the expert?

The installation of the camera in our office start today.
Hm... all our excess pc are dumped at the entrance corridor which is shown in camera 3. We couldn't find a storeroom to store all excess pc. Hence, DUMP THERE.
Meet pl at about 5++pm at causeway point where we settled down to get some drinks at mos burger. Chit-chat a bit and realised that they have already cleared up the mis-understanding between us and M.
1. I dun think i mis-understand anything. I was thinking if he trying to defend himself. But PL could feel his sincerity. Anyway, it doesn't matter to me becoz i dun treat him as close buddies but onli frenz. If he is my buddies, then i have to make a point to clear up any mis-understanding as i dun wan to lose any of the buddies.
2. The way he follow me, i dun like it.
3. I could sense that when he like a person he will stand between us.
4. If he really likes to protect gals, i think he will take either lead the way or follows us. But he didn't and stand between us.
Anyway, will try not to be too close to him becoz :
1. He's simply a boring guy who can't cheer us up. In fact, i think pl and me are like clown who trying to make a child smile. that the feeling i have.
2. "kiam". He will accept drink money.
3. I dun like the way he move his shoulder.
4. Dun like the way he look at me.
5. I dun like the way he drives us home. Reckless when he speeds.
6. I dun like the way he follow me behind, leaving my frenz behind him or, neither do i like the way that he follow my frenz, leaving me behind.
7. I think he trying to be popular among the gals by trying to be nice to everyone.
8. I think he trying to learn like Mr. Foo when he always has 2 gals finding him. This is my thinking lah.
We set off to take bus 950 to custom. Reached city square about 9++pm and quickly take our order. Took about 20 mins to have our food in front of us.
Foo came and fetch us around 10++pm while he actually drivign in circle waiting for us to be ready.
Reach Eden garden and saw a group of guy with mei qi. Open one red and one white wine. White wine taste nice.
I think they are gulping down the wine. It not wine tasting but wine gulping down.
How long was the last time that i walked into chinatown near CNY? think about 5 yearS? or more than tat? I couldn't really recall. I remember i dun like to walk around chinatown as i hate crowds.
I made an exception to go to chinatown as foo is coming.
Wenwei msn me in the morning, asking me how come mervin never respond his sms when wenwei asked him if he is coming on sat for drinking session. I sms Mervin if he did see any sms. Mervin replied, saying no. Then he told me about the scolding that he kena.
As we sms here and there, he sms if i am free to chill out for a drink, etc.... I couldn't make it unless he wanna join us for dinner. Then around 5++pm, he smsed that he will be joining us for dinner. We met up and have dinner together with pl at Lau Pa Sat, followed by a walk at UOB centre area. Chit-chat about the life he has in the school.
Then around 9++pm, we set off to chinatown when we knew that foo and his frenz has already reached. We had a hard time finding these guys. As we were finding them, i sms-ed pl that i find him extra. hahhaha. that a feeling. I dun like pple to follow me unless is my buddy. Fortunately, we found them and dumped mervin there with the group of guys.
Went to find HL next as he is lost. End up, we asked them to meet at Mrt control station and decided to seek his help by asking him to send me home as i know Mervin will send us home. I do warn him not to tease anyone of us (pl and me) with him. HL said that he will send me home. It seem like even without my request, he will send me home.
First time i saw his gf is a totally diff look from the website model pic that he shown me. Hm.... the photo on website is very attracting. The picture on the friendster where her back is facing us, remind me of pk's gf, ivy chua. Quite look-alike.
So, finally, we walked around the chinatown. But we didn't really take a look at the stall. It seem like taking a stroll instead of shopping. And of coz, pl and me trying to avoid mervin all the while.
I followed HL and his gf to get their car. While taking the lift up to the 3rd floor, he pull my bag away so that the lift wun "pressed" it. i just wonder what the reaction of his gf.
They proceed to go to Boat Quay with mervin leading the way. During the journey, I heard HL complaining about mervin who cut 3 lanes so fast without waiting for pple. At this time, i do feel tat the fault is on mervin. He shouldn't cut 3 lanes so fast and more-ever, there's so many cars.
So, finally we reached Boat Quay. I quickly grab a seat next to "Jay chou". But HL asked me to sit beside him. So, i did. We had Heiken and kept teasing that foo might wanna hug "Jay Chou".
"Jay chou": If i like him, i already chase him 17 years ago.
wow... that sentence seeks our attention. hahahahaha. After finished drinking, she asked me for the direction where the night rider bus are. Mervin offered to send us home, but i told him that my frenz is sending me back as they going to custom. But as for her, i think she had some difficulty rejecting his kind offer.
Then he did wanna clarify something which i am not interested to listen. I know wat he wanna say but foo came and we quickly walked towards the bus-stop.
While waiting for her night-rider, "Jay chou" called us and said his frenz will send her home but was rejected. In the end, we saw her board the bus. Foo and I walked back.
Was pretty shocked to see mervin is still there. Thought he has already left. After that, we all left. I followed HL and his gf to their car.
While on the journey back, lightbulb was quite bright. HL say her character like his mother. Nagging. Oh my, she can tell me not to hit him. zzZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz....
Reached home around 2++pm. She asked HL to send me up to my house but i say no need as I point to my house which is at ground floor. Quickly get off and bide farewell to them.
I went to school early. This is the first time i reach sooo early for her class. I didn't went in, i just waited in the canteen. I was on the line with ivy where hendri wan me to call her up to ask about bonus. Mervin reached. But it seems like he not happy with me. He called jeslyn to ask her whereabout. Hm... seems like he got another face tat i couldn't describe. He doesn't appear as simple as what he looks. I think he treat me nice becoz of jeslyn.
jeslyn came late for about 30 mins. We chatted and finally decided to enquiry about the dropping of modules. Jeslyn said that it might cost either $126 or $162. $162 cost too high for me. But the moment i heard from mervin that the lecturer will not give tips and the result the student get was sucks. And then the next following class will be all the presentation by the student which i think is stupid when we paid for the sch fee. So, we decide to enquire about it.
And the moment i heard that there is no fee to drop the module, i decided to drop. My reaction was damn fast. And of coz, happy. No fee leh.
After that, we went to boon lay market to happy supper, followed by cozy bay.
Company gathering was at La Pau Sat. Asked the pple there to make table for 34 staff. Food was quite nice. Initially, I was trying very hard to reject the beer that is offered to me. Then the boss's glass knocked the glass of mine (coll pushed the beer glass to me in front of the boss), I know I cant reject. I drank onli one slip. Then Angie did that too after a while and me, who thought that i can drink, said, "Come, boss" and knocked boss's glass. Everyone was shouting, "Bottom up! Bottom up!"
Not to disappoint everyone, I had to gulp one full of glass beer down. The feeling was still ok. 15 mins passed by, n i feel like going home. After crossing a street, I realised i feeling really high till my eye sight sensed tat I might going to be blackout soon.... And i squatted down immediately.
Colleague drove his car over and send me and some colleague home.
Hahaha... I puked. Yes, Puke. But then with a plastic bag and his car wasn't affected. Slowly, I filled up one bag of plastic bag. When reaching one colleague house, I throw the plastic bag at the road and drove off...
Bad citizen rite?
