Members, and Gentle Readers:
I want to thank all of you for your statements in Damages
Report #1.
Everyone involved has been deeply affected by your statements.
For the first time, I believe, law enforcement officials,
prosecutors, and plantiffs have seen, with their own eyes, the real
victims of cyber-terrorism. Mild expressions have turned grim.
I do not think that the crime-fighters, who have been working on
this case since April, were at all prepared for what you guys told
them from your hearts. Thank you for breathing life and humanity
into the atrocities that were committed against you and your
community.
You really are going to change the Internet forever, in a
profound way, and I am so proud of you for taking a stand against
crimes of hate, which is exactly what these are. I intend to see
that each and every one of you is compensated for what was done to
you in the community you created.
NEW: Damages Report #2 is Ready for You!
This report focuses on harassment that you experienced or
witnessed that was committed against you, a fellow Community Member,
or Staff. You may have witnessed a Member torn apart in a frenzy of
hate and lies on another message board. You may have read slanderous
comments made by well-known Disney webmasters. As a result, you may
have been intimidated and fearful in the Clubhouse. This
intimidation may have damaged the way you enjoyed reading or
interacting with your community.

How I wish I could tell you everything! There are some big
surprises in store. Just remember this -- the people who hurt you
are very, very frightened and they will say anything they can to
scare you or seduce you. But because they come from a place of hate,
they will trip over their costumes and reveal themselves again and
again. It's a richly educational show, if you have the stomach to
watch it.
Here are some FACTS that address the sillier rumors we've
heard:
Firewalls, trojans, mass assults, infected computers -- all
taking place here in the Switchboard!
Folks, these statements are really very stupid, although they
did provide a really nifty little piece of online terrorism directed
toward you, to interfere with a criminal investigation and stop you
from exercising your rights to speak and be heard (which
immediately went into the file of a little fellow with a great big
fire hat, who is appropriately named "Crank").
Like the rest of the Disney Vigilantes, he is terrified of what
you might say here, and is trying, in his own pathetic way, to scare
you. It's both sad and funny ;-)
Again -- Be good to each other. Don't lose the faith! I have
always looked out for you and I don't intend to stop now!
