About Matthew Lubin
I am a recently repatriated writer/editor from New Jersey, and I'm currently seeking employment in publishing, education, or cultural consulting. I spent the last three and a half years working in Shenzhen, China. I write on a variety of subjects in different forms (fiction, reviews, non-fiction, poetry, screenplay). I have worked for The New Jersey Law Journal as assistant editor and Aspatore Books as a freelance editor. My work has appeared in Asia's Best Hotels and Resorts (3rd ed.), Shenzhen Daily, American Drivel Review, The Aroostook Review, Ink Collective, and American Poets Abroad. I maintain a blog of my China experience and other musings at The Waiguoren Critic of South China. I am also the publisher of the China-centric literary journal Terracotta Typewriter.
I've traveled to England, Ireland, The Netherlands, Canada, Israel, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia (Bali). In China I've been to Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macau, Zhaoqing, Shanghai, Beijing, Xi'an, Tianjin, Urumqi, Shihezi, Chengdu, Huanglong/Jiuzhaigou, Songpan, Leshan, Xiamen, Zhouzhuang, Guilin, and Yangshuo.
Contact me if you would be interested in hiring me. I'm also available for freelance work or if you need any Asian travel stories or travel advice.

Shoplifters will be deported to Nebraska.
