Media Research
- The agency
is the pioneer in launching syndicated media research in Bangladesh.
- SIRIUS Media
Survey (SMS) our first syndicated study was carried out in Dhaka
City, the first time in 1997, and once again, in 1999. The report,
which is available off-the-shelf, provides data on reach and penetration
of different media across different demographic and socio-economic
segments. It also provides product-linked information for over
40 categories. We are in the process of conducting this study
for the first time on a nation-wide level across 146 centers (both
urban and rural, spanning 12,500+ respondents later this year.
A separate proposal regarding this is available on request.
- SIRIUS Television
Rating Indicator Point (STRIP) launched in October 1997 is another
pioneering effort of the agency. STRIP is a panel based continuous
audience measurement system providing continuous viewership data
to track growth and decay in program viewership. Can be used reliably
to evaluate TV media schedules cost efficiencies and pricing of
airtime. The data is made available to clients on a weekly basis.
