Introduction
This lesson was developed as part of the Duke University School of Nursing, N541, Technology and Curriculum Design Course.
Grant writing requires a body of knowledge that is often overlooked in nursing curricula. With this lesson, you will provide your students with the knowledge they need to learn to write professional award-winning grants. Your students will be employed by an imaginary clinic to write a grant to fund a project that will provide preventative Diabetic information to the local Hispanic population. The population in focus is an underserved financially challenged migrant group ranging in age from 16 to 46 years of age.
