Introduction

This lesson was developed as part of the Duke University School of Nursing, N541, Technology and Curriculum Design Course.

The Health Services Program Funding Analysis lesson will equip you with the tools and skills you need to acquire community health project funds.

Before you get started, it is recommended that you read the online instructions, which will guide you through some of the technology details.

Project Intro

You and your classmates have been asked by Prospect Hill Community Center to write a grant to fund a project that will provide preventative Diabetic information to a local underserved financially challenged migrant Hispanic population.

Each member of your team will work on a portion of the grant, bringing the parts together to synthesize the information into an award winning grant proposal.

Team members will use the forum to synchronize meetings, plan strategies, share information, and post their work. Your team will need to submit via email a timeline projecting the project completion dates within the first two weeks.  The final grant application will be submitted via email.  The team will need to decide who will have the responsibility of submitting the final grant proposal.

Prospect Hill Community Center employees are excited to have you working with them. They have a heart for the Hispanic community and hope you will be able to obtain funding for them. If you have questions or need anything, the center's project coordinator, Kelly Cobb, can be reached at kelly.cobb@esinc.net
