Skyline
A
view from one of the rail
stations shows Singapore as an
international city. The largest
international harbor and free
standing sculpture are among the
many things that make the locals
proud.

Fine City
Singapore
is a fine city. So goes the
running joke from flight
attendants to taxi drivers. I
found out why.

Sentosa Sunset
Taken
from the top of the Merlion,
about 50 meters above the resort
island of Sentosa. |

Merlion
Half
lion, half fish, mythology says
that the Merlion came out of the
sea to protect the people of
Singapore from a terrible storm.
It's been a symbol of the
country ever since.

Old Charm
I
was walking somewhere between
Chinatown and downtown when I
came across this old world
looking street. Singapore's
primary influence comes from
China, Malaysia, and India --
then everywhere else.

Sentosa Point
'The
islet you are standing on is 136
km north of the Equator and is
described as the Southernmost
Point of Continental Asia.
The
islet is linked to Asia via a
suspension bridge to Sentosa
Island, which is linked to
mainland Singapore by a 710
meter long
My
reflection can be seen in the
marker.
