Voice Chat

Double click on volume control, in the task bar, ( the little yellow speaker) goto options/ properties, goto recording, make sure Mic is deselected,(have everything deselected) goto playback, then make sure Microphone balance has a check in it,(to make it mute) make sure nothing else has a check.

Look at the Pictures below, they may not look the same as yours, but you can see what is selected.
