Steve doesn't exactly refer to it as "our house". He inserts a few adjectives between "our" and "house", but I know he really doesn't mean it. I tell him to, "have a little vision".
When I saw the house for the first time, I saw the stained glass windows, the brick fireplace, the hardwood floors, the wall moldings, the built-in glass bookcases, the bay window and the wonderfully moist radiator heat. So what if I didn't see the dark brown paneling in the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, or the dropped ceilings, or the showerless bathroom with the gold vanity, or the window airconditioner. This place was IT and it was cheap.
