Fall pics

This is the back end of Houston Lake,

the part you can't see without a boat.

These lilies are on the marshy part of the lake;

some of these narrow waterways even our little boat

can't fit through...it's a very quiet place, though.

My wife was able to get a great shot

of this cooperative little spud since he was near the lilies.

And here is the really cool pink water lily we saw.

it was worth the effort to get these pics

I think Claude Monet would have liked it. =)
