Craig Alan (Cool Breeze) Bruesewitz is a singer and songwriter that plays guitar and harmonica and has kept moving ahead musically since the early days with the South Side Jug Boys (1978). The Jug Boys were Craig plus Gary Kitchin and Don Kordus. The Jug Boys started playing at the Brady Street Festival on Milwaukee's fashionable East Side. Craig claims that he owes a lot of what he knows, musically, to Gary. They co-wrote the infamous "Milwaukee Boogie". They had hoped that Mayor Maier would sing it at the opening ceremonies of Summerfest but the Mayor, in his infinite wisdom, chose "The Summerfest Polka" instead.

Craig roamed and rambled solo for a time, as well as short stints with other bands (Quest, Bubbler, and Positive Traction) to name a few. Craig was a co-founder of the Milwaukee Musicians Cooperative in 1982. The MMC published "Songbook Showcase", a collection of local artist's original words and music. Involvement in the MMC led to many playing opportunities and musical experiences. TV appearences and gigs around town helped Craig to tighten up his licks.

Craig's next major involvement in a band was STRANGER. This rock and roll outfit that featured Craig on guitar, bass, harmonica, and vocals, A.L. Williams on guitars, bass, and vocals and Kim Seegert on drums. Stranger started as a band called ACT which stood for A.L. Craig and Tim Tominsek who played drums. Tim is featured on one cut from the Stranger Album, "Sweet Night Summer Dream".

A.L. and Craig shared in writing songs for the band. They recorded an album in 1986 which sold well under a million copies in the Milwaukee area. Many friends helped this band over the years. Kathy Ratzburg was introduced as back up vocalist for the band. The album also featured Edie Suetholz on violin and Aliceson Hackett on backup vocals. Bill Brown (May he rest in peace) appeared on the album and was a constant source of support for many musicians at that time.

Stranger eventually drifted apart and A.L. and Kathy formed One Lane Bridge. Craig moved on to play solo for a while then with Kevin (Crawdad) Thomas and Julie (Red) Hagen formed a group called "The Poodle Haters" Craig, Kevin, Julie, and Kim Seegert (drums) played Summerfest and put out a self titled cassette album. The Poodle Haters were thought to be a punk folk band. Poodle Hater T-Shirts were very famous around Summerfest that year (1989) but the band played only a few gigs, beside Summerfest, then disband.

Many changes took place in 1990 the biggest is that Craig sobered up, went back to school, and started to grow up just a little.

Craig met Harmonica Bob and the Harpoons were formed. The Harpoons brought Kim Seegert out of musical seclusion. Bob and Craig were know for their dueling harmonica jams.Bob found a girlfriend and Craig and Kim continued as a duo. Kevin Thomas helped out the Harpoons in the recording of "Another Hole in My Whale" by playing bass and adding some memorable vocal tracks.

Craig and Kim played for a few years in the Milwaukee and Waukesha areas. Due to commitments making for busy lives the Harpoons never really broke up they just got washed out with the tide of life. The Harpoons play at least once a year, usually in March at the Bear's Den Reunion Gig.

When Craig arrived in Fond du Lac (1997) he hooked up with the fine folks of the Fondy Acoustic Music Alliance, Very Special Arts Wisconsin, and the ARC of Fond du Lac. With gigs at local coffee houses, the Farmers Market, and other assorted playing opportunities related to the above mentioned organizations, plus occasional gigs with old friends T. Keller, Julie Hagen, and Jim Mischler (Too Bad About Murp) Craig's music is still full speed ahead.

Craig's CD "Cool Breeze Through the 'Ears" Released in 1999 documents 2 decades of songwriting and performing.

Craig has teamed up once again with Julie Hagen as a duo and have been playing gigs for the last 2 years. They recorded a project titled "Peace of the Falling Sky". This is a CD of inspiration and praise songs, written by Craig. Craig and Julie also have completed their 2nd CD, "That's the Way Life Is", which is a collection of humorus and serious songs about life.
