Back from Cyber Dead: so finally my company is back up with a T1 line, can i tell you how deprived i was of the internet and AA for the last week! it was pushing me to the breaking point.. hee hee
GOOD NEWS: got an offer as a Portfolio Assistant for Dreyfus, so i`ll be leaving my job here =( i`ll definately miss the union square area, great food and shopping.. moving to midtown =)

simple things in life: friday: didnt go out for once, spent it being all cozy in my bed.. got home and had the thunderstorm hit.. it was a pretty cool display of thunder and lightning.. got to lazy to trek through the rainto go chill out.. veggied out and make QT time for myself..
saturday: went to a wedding on saturday at the Waldorf Astoria, it was the most beautiful wedding ive ever been to. the bride and groom were both glowing, its was pretty darn wonderful.. its kinda hard to put into words how marriage can be so uplifting to a persons soul. its the sharing of love and a new life that makes its all seem so wonderful.. i had a good time with my friends and hunnie.. pics to be posted soon..=)
sunday: had brunch with my high school friends on sunday.. it amazes me that you can be so close to a bunch of people and even though youve gone your separate ways at different colleges, when it comes down to it, things dont change.. its been over five years since high school, yet when we were together it felt like nothing has changed between us.. i still had a feeling of closeness to themlike we did back in HS.. we could joke around about the past, present and future.. the only real way to describe it is that it just feels like home, cuz its just soooo familiar.

match-maker, match-maker, find me a match...: some how ive been designated the match maker. why do guys always ask me to hook them up with one of my girlfriends? in a city like this, where there are so many asians around, you would think that a person would be able to meet someone on their own.. but then again we are talking about asian men here, most are pretty timid and shy and would rather go the route vis-a-vie a friend of a friend... though i normally go thru that route, you would think that i would try to hook up these guys... but at last, its hard to hook them up when i hardly have any more single girlfriends on the market.. yes i am in a sorority, but that doesnt mean that everyone is single.. when most of the girls get to my age, they pretty much get taken.. so the only route i have left are the younger girls.. and i wouldnt subject the impressionable minds of my sisters to the men out there..
i would like to think that i have a good sense of peoples characters and their compatability.. i did introduce one couple over a year ago and as it turned out, theyare still together today, i take partial credit in their being together.. i wouldnt say that this relationship was total lived in la-la land (there were highs and lows) but i think overall, i knew that they would get along great because of their personality match.. i think with the limited amount of single friends that i have, its definatly getting harder to make a good "match".

hopelessly devoted too you...: so even though im a member of xanga now, i still cant help myself and stay devoted to AsianAvenue. mostly i have enough time to write my updates, but its just seems like a hassle to do it twice, so since i only "do one at a time" im gonna stick with AA for a while longer =) (darn lucky aa members.. you still get to read about my life.. hee hee)

keep on walking..: i dunno if its the weather or what, but lately men just keep on cat calling when i walk by. which puts me into a totally biatchy mood.. it annoys me to hear "hey baby! looking good!" sometimes i just wanna say thing back to them, but mostly i ignore them and keep on walking. i think one of these days i will actually get up the nerve to say something back, but for now, i`ll just keep on walking by

(the Jeffersons` theme) I`m movin on up.. to the East side..: so today is my last day of work at my company.. my last day chillin around Union Square =*( its sad to be leaving, but also exciting at the same time, cuz there`ll besomething new and exciting to learn at my new job on monday =)

work without perks: so its the second day of work at Dreyfus.. its killing me already!! im currently having withdrawal from being AIM, AOL mail, yahoo mail and AsianAvenue deprived. being in a corporate financial firm, they haverestricted all non-business websites.. so im stuck in a world just as horrible as the land of the cyber dead.. i have been reduced to signing online at home.. WAHHH!!
but besides having a lack of internet sites to hit up, work has been pretty daym interesting..so i cant complain.. =)
