BONEFLUTISM: THE OFFICIAL BIZARRE METAPHOR OF BOB'S UNCLE BLUES
Boneflutism is premissed on the assumption that the world is a bonemachine: that its purpose is to
produce bones; that these bones are broken down by the bonemachine in order to serve as the raw
materials for the production of more bones; and that these bones are in turn broken down in order
to serve as the raw materials for the production of more bones...
The world, according to Boneflutism, is a self-sustaining, self-consuming, bonemachine, a
cannible, a monster; the bonemachine is a monster. The internal purpose of the bonemachine
consists in the production and consumption of bones.
The external purpose of the bonemachine is in the production of bonemusic; the bustle and crunch
of bones in the workings of the bonemachine is music. Boneflutism celebrates the boneflute (pictured above) as the first attempt to tap into the music of the bonemachine. All hail the bonemachine.
