The   Painters   Eye

The painter sees a colored world
where emotions come in hues
the brush she holds sees everything
in a way that just she views
 

So many colors fill her heart
like emotions on a page
the canvas is her very life
like an actor's is the stage
 
 

The Green of envy is but one
passionate Red suggests desire
a Yellow streak can hint at fear
while pure white we can admire

Pink is innocence of the young
as nature's shades of brown
and if you look at it too long
Deep Blue can almost drown
 
 

The Painter sees not with her eyes
but through texture and through feel
and in her way she captures life
in a lasting form thats real

So when you see the work shes done
remember it's her heart
that paints the world in loving strokes
I guess thats why they call it Art
