Max is a Miniature Pinscher. He was born on May 10, 1994. I adopted Max when he was supposed to be a surprise birthday present for a friend's parents and they didn't like their surprise present of an 8-week old energetic puppy. He was 10 weeks old when I adopted him. I already had Bonnie and now she had a baby brother to play with. They get along beautifully. Max's fancy AKC name is Mighty Max Attack because as little as he is, he thinks he's a big dog. He is a great watchdog, and protects our house as if he were a trained guard dog. He just loves to bark and scare everyone away. On the other hand, he is the most affectionate dog. He loves to be on your lap and gives lot of kisses.

Some people think Miniature Pinschers are mini Doberman Pinschers, but they are a breed all their own. Watch out - they'll steal your heart!
