Hi, and welcome to my page. I'm a Division 1 Registered Nurse and I live in Victoria, Australia.

As well as enjoying chat, I have a passion for learning. I enjoy talking to people and finding out what makes them tick.

Listed are some of my qualifications:

*Registered General Nurse
*Bachelor of Applied Science in Nursing
*Graduate Diploma of Community Health
*Operating Theatre Management and Technique Certificate
*Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
*Sexual and Reproductive Health Nurse Practitioner
*Immunisation Nurse Practitioner plus numerous minor certificates.
*Graduate Diploma in Adolescent Health and Welfare at the University of Melbourne.

But wait, there's more.... I'm a Gemini, which enables me to do at least 50 things at once. Geminians (is that right?) can typically read more than 1 book at a time, hold down 2 or 3 jobs (I have 2), study, have a hectic social life and maybe find time for a partner( oh yes, and time to sleep too).

I enjoy pottering around in the garden, walking in the rain, or on the beach, a "feel-good" movie (Pretty Woman, You've Got Mail etc) or listening to a wide variety of music. My all time favourite artist is Alice Cooper ( have seen him live 5 times) I also like Del Amitri and some classical music, Tchaikovshy's Nutcracker Suite, and Romeo and Juliet are magnificent, as is Grieg's Peer Gynt and Rachmaninov's "Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini".

I travelled to the UK, Thailand and Singapore in 1986 and spent 9 weeks touring with my then 2 1/2 year old son. My ancestors emigrated to Australia in the 1800's, so Northern Ireland was of particular interest as it is very similar to Victoria.

In November 2000, I made the trip to meet friends from the 40's love chat room. I flew to Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, spent 4 days in Seattle, then flew to Indiana. From there I went to Ohio, where I met 30 people who I knew from chat. OMG..can those people party! The introduced me to a new drink....commonly known in our chat room as 'pink chit'. Americans will be familiar with this substance as 'strawberry shortcake'. Unsuspecting Aussies like myself (we NEVER ever drink to excess in Aus) were completely overwhelmed with this 'pink chit'. Mind you, I am almost positive that the person mixing the 'pink chit' added more than enough alcohol to the mixture!
Therefore, I was NOT responsible for any of my actions at the chat party. Nor was I responsible for anything I did in the many pics that were taken. Also the video "Diamonds does Defiance" was NOT my fault! (if you have a copy its probably worth a hell of a price on the black market!)

I ventured back to Ohio some 7 months later in June 2001. Yes, Immigration DID allow me back in the USA! This time I met with 100 other 'chataddicts' and once again, the city of Defiance was under attack.

I plan to go back to the USA at some stage. (Perhaps when Immigration allows me back in :-))

The Victorian State Government has a school staff exchange program with several USA States, so, I will be back in the near future. I work in a rather unique job in secondary schools. If you want to know more, you'll have to ask!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm since writing this page I have moved on professionally. I am now a Nurse Coordinator in a large rural medical practice in country Victoria. I have to be challenged in my work or I tend to get bored and move on!

I also found my soulmate in yahoo chat. He's a Chemist and also has his own consultancy as a Quality Systems Manager. He moved here in Spetember 2004 and we're building a beautiful house out of corrugated steel and it has a curved roof. We currently have 22 alpacas, beautiful animals bred for their fleece and also to sell as stud animals.
