We have 20 stocks of bees in a "bee villiage" and there is also an observation hive for closer viewing.

With the changing countryside, bees are getting scarcer and scarcer and there is now a shortage of pollinators. Additionally a worldwide disease (varroa) has largely wiped out bees in this, and other, countries. As a result beekeeping is now an important section of modern agriculture and horticulture. We have 20 stocks of bees in a "bee villiage" and there is also an observation hive for closer viewing. |
