there! Welcome to my site!!! I assume you
know me right? If not I am Abhishek
Adhikary, nicknamed Abi. I am 5 10",
black haired, brownish lad from Nepal;
for those of you who haven't been to my
country well friend you are really
missing a lot of things in yours life.
Nepal is a heaven on earth,situated on
the lap of the Himalayas and rich with
floras and faunas and is also the
birthplace of Gautam Buddha, founder of
Buddhism. I was born on 16th
November at Bir Hospital situated at
the heart of Kathmandu, the capital city
of Nepal. The ancient city with thousands
of temples decorated with heart touching
sculptures and designs by some genius
creative minds of ancient time.
I spent my childhood at my residence in
New Baneshwor; a small area crowded with
lots of people and spend those never
forgetting days playing football and
cricket with my friends at home and at my
school.
I first went to International School in
Gyaneshwor for Nursery and LKG (Lower
Kindergarden); if I sit back and remember
those days I just remember chocolates
that were provided to us before we
entered our classroom. I would always
rush to my school (sounds odd, isn't it?)
to receive more chocolates than my
friends. I studied from UKG (Upper
Kindergarden) to class 6 in AVM (Adarsha
Vidya Mandir). AVM was more crowded than
my previous school and it was where I
made lots of friends whom I hardly can
ever forget. Then I joined Elite's co-ed
from class 7 and finished my SLC (School
Leaving Certificate) from there.
After finishing SLC it seemed I had
finished my job as a student; that’s
what not just me but any youngster in
Nepal feels after going to school for 13
long years but I was wrong it was just
the beginning and god knows when it will
finish. I joined KU (Kathmandu
University) for my high school; those
days were days of bunking classes, as you
would hardly find a student in KU who
hadn't bunked a class for atleast once.
Since then I have been doing BE (Bachelor
in Engineering) in electrical engineering
I have a very small
family consisting of just four members.
The eldest being my grandmother who
just celebrated her 81st birthday few
days back, followed by my father,
mother and me. I don’t have
siblings; sometimes I feel bored and
lonely for not having siblings. This is
all about mine own family but about mine
relatives well I have lots of cousins
they company me whenever I feel that I
don’t have friends like relatives to
share feelings with.
