Democrats---------------------------------------------------------------------- A Republican and a Democrat were walking down the street when they came to a homeless person. The Republican gave the homeless person his business card and told him to come to his office for a job He then took twenty dollars out of his pocket and gave it to the homeless person. The Democrat was very impressed, and when they came to another homeless person, he decided to help. He walked over to the homeless person and gave him directions to the welfare office. He then reached into the Republican's pocket and took twenty dollars. He kept 15 for administrative fees and gave the homeless person five. Now you understand the difference between Republicans and Democrats.

Why Republican? These are my reasons.

• I am conservative
• I believe in working for what you have, not having it handed to you on a silver platter
• I think we should lower government spending
• I think taxes should be lower
• I am for the death penalty
• I am not a favor of affirmative action
• I think that laws should be based on the founding fathers' original intent
• I do not agree with gay marriage
• Liberals protest too much
• I am not a tree-hugger
• I think government should be a tool, not a dictation for your life
• I support second amendment rights
• I think abortion is wrong in any circumstance
• I believe in supporting the military
• I think that war is sometimes a necessity
• I believe in private social security
• I am not a fan of welfare
• I do not want government-run health care
• I think that the government should not interfere in business
• I don't think illegal immigrants should have rights
• Republicans do things better
