Can You Do It Challenge

Famous Person Party - I use this in conjunction with the famous people clip art page. I attach a different picture to each page, then the kids mingle and try and invite each other to their party. If the kid can come, he signs the persons sheet on the back. The person with the most sigs at the end is the winner. Rank the top 5 most popular identities on the board for laughs. First time I played, Saddam Hussein won.

Japanese Culture - Getting the kids to teach you about their culture in English. Or try this nice activity from edochan

Mood Cards - Reading the text can be boring. In order to spice it up for the kids, and have them practice dialogs in a new way, I use mood cards randomly drawn each class. We use one new mood and teach that by demonstrating it to the kids.

Opposites - Worksheet.

Design an Island - Got this from Kobe. Works well in class especially once occupations, imperatives and buildings have been taught

Gap fill Exercise for teens. I will use this same example but with Japanese and foreign stars at a later date. The setout is good, but the ideas are crappy.
