This website was designed as a repository of ideas for the newly arrived Yamaguchi JETS, as well as place for all JETS to send good lesson tips/plans/ideas. I make no pretense that the majority of ideas here are my own. When I was studying teaching we were taught that the best teachers "beg, borrow and steal" their best ideas and then modify them to suit their own needs. I have searched the net for some of the best activities and put them all on this one page.  While all of these activities have worked successfully for me and others at the JHS and SHS level, they can and probably should be adapted to meet the individual needs of the students you are teaching.

I hope you find something here that will make your life as a JET easier in some way. If you find nothing here of value, then perhaps you can contribute some of your own brilliance in order to help others.
