Welcome and thank you for visiting! This is an attempt for me, as a straight man, to understand the hardships gay/lesbian people must face based solely on their sexuality. I decided to do this after watching my country, "the land of the free", vote overwhelmingly against gay rights. I can't figure out exactly what it is about homosexuality that drives people to become so insanely hate-filled, so I figure that listening to the stories of the oppressed might help. If not, at least it will affirm my belief that homosexuality is part of nature and doesn't deserve a second look, never mind legislation to stop it. I apologize for using a free site, but I have to start somewhere, so thank you for your time, patients, and most importantly: YOUR WORDS.
