The Most Amazing Evening

The Romeo and Juliet Opera was amazing! My date picked me up at around 6:30 and we went to the opera talk before the show. There we learnt about the composer and about the opera itself and went over what to expect. Now I think I'm even more confused then I was before the date though! During one of the scene changes, he kind of leanded over towards me and asked me if he might visit me at work tomorrow and after the opera, once he dropped me off at home, I walked back down stairs to walk my dog with him, and he asked me if I'd like to go to another opera with him, and that one's one that his uncle's going to be singing in. I really hope things go well, but if it's going to be nothing really, I hope we stay as close of friends as we are now for a long time. Keep ya posted!

Yay! Tomorrow's the Opera! I'm so excited, it'll be so much fun. I guess I've gotten over the fact that my date has a girlfriend but oh well. I mean, he's a good friend of mine, I guess I shouldn't want to chance loosing the friendship we have because I can trust him with more then I can trust with any of my girl friends which is nice to have, and I can always go to him for advice too! School was actually pretty good today too... I got to talk to a few friends I havent had a chance to sit down with in a while which was really nice.

Of course... I knew the whole invitation to the Romeo and Juliet opera was to good to be true. My best friend asked the guy, just out of her own curiosity as to why he asked me and no one else... Come to find out he doesnt like me... I'm ok with that, I can handle it... What I cant handle though is the fact that HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND! Why doesnt he just take her and save some confusion? Oh well... I mean, he's an amazingly close friend of mine, I'm lucky to have him, but still... I've liked him for over a year now, and I guess it's just time to give up.

I cant believe it! One of the guys I've had a crush on and have been amazing friends with for a year asked me to go to the opera with him friday! I know it might not seem like a big deal, but I love the opera, and I love Romeo and Juliet which is what we're going to see! I kind of find it weird that he asked me. I mean this guy has every second girl that walks by drooling over him, why didnt he pick anyone else? When he asked me he said 'I need a date for the opera friday night'... Maybe he's just 'settling' for me... He's also in love with a friend of ours and he didn't even ask her, I was his first choice... I'm kind of curious about the whole thing but I'm sure the night will be a lot of fun, interesting at the very least. Keep ya posted!

Too much excitment for one day

School was ok today for once. My 'Challange and Change in Society' teacher Ms. G. wasn't here again today so we were watching Hotel Rwanda. I guess it's an okay movie. My best friend had a tough weekend with a guy who I guess was gonna be her boyfriend if he would have ever got enough courage to ask her out, but he did something this past weekend that really freaked her out so I guess things are over or at least put on hold for them. I know things will pass for them though and all will be good. I'm still having a bit of a hard time seeing my ex around school. I know I should be okay with it and I'm becoming more okay every day. I'm very happy for him that he found a new girl. She's very pretty and he deserves her but I guess thats what I get for trying so hard to make everyone happy. I have to try and make myself happy first from now on. I'm gonna just totally give up on guys for a while and see how things go that way. They always say "Love finds you when you're least expecting it", maybe it'll work! Keep ya posted!!
