Gort
Alright, I'll finish off Norah Jones later. Right now, it's just getting tedious for me, not putting up comedic songs. On that note . . .

Title: Gort
Artist: Molly and the Tinker
Genre: Umm . . . Irish comedic folk?
Rating: G

Ireland gets all the good songs. So, why not finish off the list?

Excerpt: "So lets all raise our glasses to Gort. Gort!
The beautiful Irish resort. Gort!
Where the children cavort,
While the men sit and sport
With a quart of the ale they export."

In The Morning
I said she'd be here for a full set. Gradually closer . . .

Title: In the Morning
Artist: Norah Jones
Genre: Jazz
Rating: G

She's trying to forget, but it just ain't happening. He is still there, in her mind, in her heart.

Carnival Town
Y'know, this blog has a comment section for a reason. Feedback, people! And, if you missed anything, too bad. I've reached my max (I knew there had to be a catch. only 20 MB), so previous songs are being deleted from the blog. If the post on the song piques your interest, contact me, I'll get it to you somehow.

Title: Carnival Town
Artist: Norah Jones (Come one, you don't know by now?)
Genre: generally the same as the rest.
Rating: Still good for everyone

On cycles, the ups and downs of life. And a bit on how to obtain happiness, if you know where to look.

And the next of her dulcet tones.

Title: Those Sweet Words
Artist: Norah Jones
Genre: Country/jazz/sft rock
Rating: G

Definitely more country than the other two. But It still ahs that smooth jazz undertone that makes it jsut awesome.

What Am I To You
And the next off of her CD "Feels Like Home."

Title: What Am I To You
Artist: Norah Jones
Genre: Soul/Jazz/Country
Rating: G

This one definitely hits more of the soul at which she's so very skilled. It goes more towards introspection than the whining that the title may suggest.

Sunrise
So, I've decided to play it cool for a bit and shove up some songs that are just awesome.

Title: Sunrise
Artist: Norah Jones
Genre: Smooth Jazz/Country/Soft Rock
Rating: G

This song I believe is essential Norah Jones. It hits all of her styles, her moods, and her lyrical emotion. At least, it meshes with the songs of hers that I've heard. Good Stuff. And she'll be here for a complete set.

Ahh! I've been derelict in my duties! Alright, I've decided to forego themes as a general rule, but I may accidentally stumble upon them. In any case, today's song is . . .

Title: Amazing Grace
Artist: Jesi and Jenna
Genre: Umm . . . would you believe Contemporary Christian?
Rating: G (of course)

This song ain't the Amazing Grace you're all familiar with. These two girls have incredible harmonies, soulful lyrics, and a love for the Lord.

My Dead Dog Rover
Since I happen to be able to keep some semblance of a theme in my music, I present another song about non-viable canines.

Title: My Dead Dog Rover
Artist: Hank, Stu, Dave, and Hank
Genre: Comedy (if you find this sort of thing funny)
Rating: PG-13 (for violence, excessive cruelty to animals)

The tune: "Four-Leafed Clover." You may recognize it, but the words have been twisted into a filk beyond recognition. It is . . . disturbing to say the least.

Excerpt: "I'm looking over my dead dog rover who I hit with a power mower!"

Deap Puppies
In the vein of Dr. Demento, I present the next.

Title: Dead Puppies
Artist: Ogden Edsl
Genre: Comedy
Rating: PG-13 (for . . . umm . . . well . . . just don't play it for your younger siblings. Ever.)

I defy anyone to disagree with the message of this song. Dead puppies aren't much fun.

Excerpt: Dead puppies,
(Dead, dead, dead)
Dead puppies,
(Dead, dead, dead)
Dead puppies aren't much fun.
