We felt your presence and, nestled soft and warm; we saw your tiny heartbeat, then we thought you were fine;

Then that tragic day it came where there was nothing we could do. We loved you more, this we do know as we cried for you that day. When we realized that you were gone, and we wanted you to stay.

We would have held you close to us, and see your perfect form, a gift of love, we would have kept you safe and warm.

Only now you are an angel over us beautiful and bare, rest gentle 'sweet little angel', there is no pain we know you are with the guiding angels in you peaceful home.

We will come with you someday only now is not our time, then we will be together and you will be ours again.
