I am so sorry to hear of your stepfather's passing.
I never met your stepfather, but I did know you back in Lodi in middleschool. Remember the bugs that rained from the ceiling in Mrs. Waugh's class?
I was spending time wandering through old memories and I wondered what had happened to you. I'm not surprised to see that you are still introverted and intellectual. Nor am I surprised to read that you still want to make a difference in this place. I don't have any answers to your questions unfortunatly... I don't have any answers to mine as it is. I do know that you have had an impact on the people around you. I do know that you can make things better in some ways, even if you never see it. Sometimes the most important changes we make to this world are the ones we never notice.
Be strong. Find peace. I hope you find what you are seeking.

Well, here's hoping you'll happen by again and see this . . .
I was just thinking about Mrs. Waugh's class the other day. Yeah, the bugs episode was definitely my favorite part of that adventure. =] So ubelievably gross. I can't believe they kept us in that room like that as long as they did. I'm not sure people believe me when I tell them about it.
