Interesting MALL MAN Facts

1. 1993: MALL MAN video

http://www.archive.org/details/JonathanDavidSteinhoff_0

Steinhoff* (producer, director, writer, star, etc.)

*Story of wealthy man living like a homeless person in one of his shopping malls; possessing special power to know/feel everything that happens in the mall.

2. 1995: MALLRATS

Sean Daniel* (producer)

No film ever made has title more similar to MALL MAN. Steinhoff's contention, even well before MALLRATS, has been that when Sean Daniel produces a movie he unfailingly works in something related to Steinhoff's material.

*Sean Daniel (“The Mummy” producer) is person from whom Steinhoff first learned (1970) of the college he attended, CalArts.

3. 2002: MINORITY REPORT

Spielberg*

No film ever made (as of 2002) is more similar to MALL MAN (in MINORITY REPORT’s mall scene).

*In late 1970s, Sean Daniel, then V.P. of Universal, was part of small group that included Spielberg, Zemeckis; possibly still good friends. At one point Sean Daniel was president of film division of Geffen Co. David Geffen, who was with John Lennon when he was killed, co-founded DreamWorks with Spielberg.

4. 2004: THE TERMINAL

Spielberg

No film ever made (as of 2004) is more similar to MALL MAN. Though the screenplay for "The Terminal" was based on an actual person, when one factors in how Spielberg has more scripts to choose from than any director who has ever lived, the likelihood of his just happening to select the very one that is heir apparent to "Minority Report" in terms of similarities to "Mall Man" is beyond remote to the point of absurdity.

5. 2008: INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL

Spielberg

Special heightened significance of prop, Indiana Jones' hat, as most conspicuously NOT left behind by Jones, both at the very beginning and very end of the movie, correlates with MALL MAN's special heightened significance of prop, socks from Valerie, most conspicuously left behind as final shot of video. Additionally, both INDIANA JONES KINGDOM and MALL MAN feature, as a major character, someone who resembles a homeless type, yet in actuality is quite a different type.

RELATED INTERESTING FACT:

Location shooting for "Mall Man" took place at the World Financial Center in New York City, just an overpass away from the World Trade Center. Five days later the first attempt at "9/11", the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, took place.

I have had a number of similar such "coincidences", but not often - only when/right before major Arabic terrorist events occur. Not enough to facilitate a basis for a serious investigation, despite the number of clues, because one would first have to presuppose that I (a Jew), am so singularly important/influential in relation to Steven Spielberg (who is undeniably among the world's most powerfully influential, prominent Jews), that major Arabic terrorists would consistently choose to "plug" into things in relation to me and what I create. Furthermore, had these same exact clues landed directly in the path of Spielberg instead of indirectly, by way of landing in my path, and were one half-intelligent, one would have to be an fool to fail to read their intended significance.

YET ANOTHER INTERESTING RELATED FACT:

When Steinhoff moved from New York City to Southern California in 1993, where he has lived ever since, within the first two weeks Steinhoff was driving along in Van Nuys minding his own business when Spielberg was suddenly driving alongside him, two motorcycle police driving in front.

AND YET ONE MORE INTERESTING RELATED FACT:

Steinhoff has made only three narrative (story) films/videos. In one of the three, Steinhoff's 1994, 1998 sci-fi comedy video, "KALORPING FOR GOSK, PARTS 1 and 2," the very first image of the entire video that one sees following the credit sequence (in the 1994, Part 1 version as well) is that of a fishing bob in water. Subsequently, when Spielberg's "DreamWorks" was formed, all DreamWorks movies have included an opening logo sequence also beginning with the image of a fishing bob in water.

AND AS IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH:

"Steinhoff's Monster," Steinhoff's 16mm film completed in 1978 at CalArts, now transferred to video (http://www.archive.org/details/JonathanDavidSteinhoff_7), bears unmistakable similarities to Spielberg's "War Of The Worlds". To such a great degree, in fact, that were one not aware of which one actually came first, one might be inclined to presume it is Steinhoff following Spielberg, and worse, presume it is now Steinhoff falsely claiming the opposite.

AND FINALLY:

In the 1980s, following a phone conversation with Sean Daniel, Steinhoff sent to Sean Daniel (though not by request) two copies of Steinhoff's self-printed semi-novel, "The Coin That Came In Second," which now exists as part of the self-printed collection of Steinhoff's writings, "Inventing Air" (copyrighted 1987). The extra copy included a note requesting that it be forwarded by Mr. Daniel to Mr. Spielberg.

The title of the semi-novel, "The Coin That Came In Second," refers to an artificial natural habitat in a prehistoric setting, and more specifically, relates to the book's ongoing drama of inhabitants escaping from their artificial natural habitats, resulting in what is perceived as chaos. One has to think of "Jurassic Park".

When "Inventing Air" was self-printed and copyrighted, each of the book's three sections began with a colored page (see below). The first section began with the image of three circles, each with a square and a drawing inside. The second section began with the same image, minus one of the three circles-squares-drawings. The third began with the same image, now minus two of the three images. When the book "Jurassic Park" was printed, it was divided into seven sections, "First Iteration" thru "Seventh Iteration", each Iteration section beginning with a geometrical image, repeated and added onto in each successive Iteration section, thus making an increasingly more complex geometrical image (see below). One should think of "Inventing Air".
