Caesar won because of his army, and strategy. When Caesar was appointed governor of a Roman province, he built a large, strong army. His army was loyal to him, and helped him conquer present-day northern France and Belgium, and they also invaded Britain.

Julius Caesar also won because of his brilliant strategy. Everyone he fought attacked only from the front. But Caesar attacked from all four sides. He sent 3 legions to the right, 3 legions to the left, 3 to the back, and the rest attacked from the front. This was a surprise and it was unexpected. Caesar defeated and conquered many using this strategy.
