The Wicker Chronicles: Essays, Poetry, Short Fiction
Sunday, 29 May 2005

God does me no disservice
by loving without limits
granting grace
denying distinctions
restoring warp and weave
I am woven into His will
logos and loom, text and textile

God does me no disservice
by saving without second thoughts
completing creation
evolving epiphanies
redeeming penance and prayer
I am drawn into His promise
agape and gift, past and present

G.- Found you by way of RLP. I'm glad I did. You are a gifted writer. Your words touch me in places that are wounded much as you have been. I didn't nearly lose my life, but I spent many years wondering if it was worth living. Trusting that my sexuality was a gift of God and not a temptation to disobey has enabled me to taste the goodness of God's grace.

You are a poet. God has gifted you with the greatest gift, the gift of words. Sticks and stones may break bones, but words can wound the heart. And, words can give life. Yours give life. Please keep writing and telling us about your journey. It's a wonder to watch.
