Well now, I have spent about 18 hours camping Phido today. Pretty much read every post of every mob who was thought to have been connected to this particular mob. I have once and for all, figured out the exact method to spawn Lenrel/Phido, as well as Ren`rex/Grisok. Now, I hope you're all ready for a mouthful, because that's what you're going to get, shall I begin? Right, here we go. By the way, the straight facts and pictures will come at the end of my story, so please, indulge yourself in...
-------------------------------
As I mentioned previously, having spent 18 hours in this camp, I had to stop and rethink my strategy of who I should kill, many times, having not gotten the results I was looking for with the supplied information on the forums. I shall try not to bore everyone with my babbling about this "whole day" experience, including all my rather eccentric methods of calculating each individual mob suspected of being a ph. Now, as I was saying, I was rethinking my strategy, and I came across this tid bit of information that proved extremely valuable under Brother Qwinns forum (Thank you Blaston, are you truly, a Brother):
Now, let me start by saying that in some way, everyone has been damn near correct about most of the mobs responsible for High Shaman Phido. There's a few tid bits of information I would like to add about some of the posted information concerning this spawn.
Let me revert back to the beginning real fast. Before, when I first started, I tried killing elephants to see what would happen. Nothing. I started killing every thing I could find around /location "2112, 2510", posted by Tassoth in another post. Nothing. Looked around for everything "linked" to this spawn and nothing. And like I said earlier, I stumbled upon Blaston's post, and started to think.... Hmm, maybe I should start with this. So I did. Then, all of a sudden, we started getting pops back to back from this list. Kill one in the list, another or the same mob would spawn instantly, elsewhere in the zone. I started to feel like I was getting somewhere with this, so we continued on. I also noticed, that only a single ph would spawn at any given time.
Now, I(58 Troubadour) was posted just north of the Hermit Hut, while my friend James(playing my 66 Druid) was posted at Splitpaw Lair. When he would kill one of the mobs in the list, he'd tell me, then boom, I'd hit track, look for another mob in the list, boom, found it, boom dead, then I'd give word that mine was "down". The mobs pretty much bounced back and forth between Splitpaw, and Hermit Hut, on occasion we'd find "an escaped splitpaw gnoll" near NK when neither of us had anything on track, similarly, one would be south near aviaks, if not north, but like I said, occasionally. He covered the northern half, I covered the southern half(which I highly recommend to everybody who does this proven method, since every mob spawns instantly in the cycle, you'd better get two trackers). We were just killing mobs back to back, almost everything on the list(1 ph at a time mind you, he'd kill one, then I'd find one, kill it, then him, so on and so forth). Eventually, we noticed Ren`Rex started spawning. So, I said to him, "Looks like we're on to something, eh?", but yet, still no signs of Lenrel or Phido... /sigh.
Now, here comes the fun part...
As I was hanging out near Hermit Hut, I noticed something rather peculiar. There was an elephant on track... literally. I thought back when I was killing adults and bulls, I never once saw "an elephant" on track. So I decided to kill it, with the hopes that something good would come out of it. And by God it did!!! "an elephant" was the key to the equation this WHOLE TIME. Amazing isn't it? I know, but let me finish. Alright, now, there are 3 possible locations for him to spawn, which I will discuss a little later.
Now, want to know an interesting fact? While camping earlier this morning around 3am(real time mind you), we were killing all kinds of things non stop. Running frantically doing laps with selo's clear around South Karana looking for anything special. The only thing special we got was "an undead cyclops" on occasion, as well as, "a cyclops", once in a blue moon. With only one "an escaped splitpaw gnoll" up at any given time, and never back to back like they were supposed to be. Are you ready for this? Once I started on "an elephant", there were so many "an escaped splitpaw gnolls" spawning back to back I could hardly keep up with the spawn rate because of how big SK is. You'll see in the screen shots later on.
-------------------------------
Here are the FACTS summarized for easy reference.
Fact #1: ALL mobs next in succession will spawn IMMEDIATELY after one of the PH's or named are killed in the cycle they pertain to.
Fact #2: "Shaman Ren`Rex's" root PH is "The Ishva Mal" (not yet 100% confirmed, after righting this all down and going over it in my head, I came to the conclusion that it maaayy just be "an Ishva Lteth gnoll" rather than "The Ishva Mal", which would make more sense since "The Ishva Mal" is LB to me, and every other ph is green, so now that I've thought about it, my money is on Lteth, so kill that screw ball!)
Fact #3: "Shaman Lenrel's" root PH is "an elephant" (100% confirmed)
Fact #4: "an elephant" will NOT respawn if killed while Lenrel has spawned off of another PH(which would have to be "an escaped splitpaw gnoll", in his case. ONLY by killing "Shaman Lenrel" himself will the "an elephant" be allowed to respawn again. Basically meaning, in order to keep the chain death alive, you must kill "Shaman Lenrel" and "an elephant" as often as possible to progress in an orderly fashion, so "an elephant" is always your top priority aside form Lenrel himself.
Fact #5: "a cyclops" and "an undead cyclops" have ABSOLUTELY, nothing to do, with either spawn cycle.
Tip #1: Bring at least TWO trackers to do this, we used Bard and Druid.
Tip #2: Use the supplied "dot" points on the provided map links to set up each tracker(possibly one in the far north near bridge if you have more than two trackers), it will make things go very smoothly.

List of Mobs confirmed in spawn cycle for "Shaman Lenrel":
(100% confirmed)
Notice they both have "an escaped splitpaw gnoll" in common with one another. It appears each escapee applies specifically to a particular spawn cycle, therefore, if you kill "an Ishva Lteth Gnoll", and his next spawn in the cycle is "an escaped splitpaw gnoll", killing the escapee will only allow "Shaman Ren`Rex" to spawn, or another PH in HIS cycle ONLY, and vice versa.

Okay, now here I have a list of maps I've marked on eqatlas' map to South Karana so you can get an idea of where to be, and where to expect them to be, most importantly.
Coverage Area
An important note about the coverage area. PH's can spawn pretty much anywhere inside each boundry, which is why I recommend at least two trackers, one to keep dips on north side, and one on the south side.
Shaman Ren`Rex
High Shaman Grisok
Shaman Lenrel
High Shaman Phido
Alright, now for the in game pictures:
1. - Now, this image was shot near the beginning of the camp, was trying to gather intelligence on spawn locations and there's no better way to do that than an SS. As you can see from the right chat box, it says "You have slain centaur charger".
WWWWHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, it's over now...
James and I play on the Maelin Starpyre server, if anyone finds this to be useful and want to thank us(mostly me, everything was my doing really lol, I did the post, took screenies, converted them to JPG, uploaded, wrote code, found the right mobs, etc). But, he's my real life bestfriend, and he's a good player. We were camping this for his alt Monk, named Oidle.
I'll have done the Monk epic 2.5 times now, once on my original Monk on an old account, and one on my new Monk account, plus James'.. have pity on my soul hehe, /dies from exaustion. Anyway, you can give me a hollar in game on Steelfists or Oratorio, and James' main is Yaddle, Froglok Shaman(Best. Shaman. Evah.) I suppose it's time to fair thee well, and we wish you luck on your quest. Peace, love, harmony.
P.S. - Thanks again for everyones willingness to share their experiences and post them here on the forums, we could not have done it without you, and so, as a token of graditude, we are happy to present to you, this guide. Enjoy.
