The web is a confusing place. Sometimes people expect the web to be this big impressive network of coherent information but this is less likely every year because of more web spam. It's not likely to stop either. Spam is just as prevelant on the web as it is in email. What can we do about it? Must we install spam filters in our web browsers? Strangly enough the pioneers given credit for all the wonderful things on the web are also the cause of its detrimental contents. Google spews out billions of spams per day, and nobody's stopping them.
