For every one-thousand births, 2.5 children will be diagnosed with Ventricular Septal Defect. The size of the hole in the heart will determine the stress on the family. This brochure was designed to help ease some of the stress, frustrations, and questions a parent or guardian may ask. It is dedicated to young children and their families with the hope that it will enable families to quickly access information to help them understand what they are facing.
