LOCAL MAP

  Information about local areas on the Tri-Island map.

// Renaeo : Rah-nay-ee-oh
  The Island of Renaeo has been home to the Raven sect for as long as the current generation can remember, there are brief historical reference's to the clan descending from the nearby islands of Portstan and Syrian. Renaeo receives a large amount of warm weather due to a gulf-wind coming from the north , near the equator line.

[1] : Mt.Achelous
  This famed and legendary mountain is claimed to be the place where Achelous found his death at the hands of Penance. In sacrificing his life to slow the path of the beast he triggered a reaction from the rose which bound Penance to the ground whence it came.

[2] : Feriton

  This large coastal city is home to thousands of individuals and is the main trading port for the Island of Renaeo and Syrian, due to Syrians lack of organized towns.

[3] : Dunes Gate

  Around Mt.Achelous lies a complete ring of high impassable mountains. Dunes Gate was erected by the 3rd generation of Ravens in order to keep trespasser's out of the holy basin. The Gate itself stands 100 Meters high and 3 meters thick and is forged in Iron and magically sealed.. It is believed that each crowned King is given the spell which will negate the seal and open the gate as well as a spell to close it too.

[4] : The Raven Imperial Grounds.
  A city within an Iron shell. Within the 4000 acres of land surrounded by a 10-foot high wall lays the inner city of the Renaeo.. And at the core of the great expanse stands the tall figure of the Raven castle.. Its believed that the population of the city is some odd 20,000! 2000 of them thought to be involved within the Ravens military foundation though none of this can be confirmed as it is near impossible to communicate or find out information about the highly secretive society.

[5] : Gateway to Heaven.
  When the power of the Rose was released in full force unto the Ethereal beast; Penance-- Its figure was propelled across the sky until it met its eventual resting place 200 miles away from Mt.Achelous in the sea.. The blow which sent the beast to the air was so strong that by the time it hit the water it acted as no negation to the force which pushed it down! Slamming into the seabed and buried in a stratum several miles below, the craters tips rise above the sea to form a ring over 50 miles in Diameter. It was named the: 'Gateway to Heaven' as it was believed the beast returned to Gaia to slumber within her until it was needed once more, the original reason for the Penance being summoned to that particular place was never known.

// Syrian : Sye-ree-anne
  The Small Island to the west of Renaeo called Syrian is a wild and chaotic place.. It was once believed that the Rage held some influence over the Island though those reports were never confirmed.. Once active presence of the "Dark Demon" in the region also tipped the scales which allowed the Island to fall into chaos, and many small villages now rely on support from the Raven Foundation to survive on this inhospitable island.

[6] : Ruins of Trascadia?
  Rumors of the Rage once being active in this area were also amplified by the ruins of this large city being found near the western coastline. Reports from scouts believed that these were the ruins of the city of Trascadia the center of the famed "Eden Knights" the Rage.. The truth can never be known as there are several large cities which lay around the globe, each one being acclaimed as the city of Trascadia- Due to the disarray of the Rage clan and apparent lack of leadership, it cannot be confirmed.

// Portstan : Port-Stan
  To the southwest of Renaeo and the south of Syrian lies the large island of Portstan. Under the rule of the Raven council, this island has a plentiful bounty of natural resources, most of the coastline is surrounded by high mountains although the occasional stretch of beach isn't unheard of. As well as various deposits of natural gold- The lowlands of Portstan are filled with Iron ore which is shipped from Jye'klar[7] to Feriton and is transported across the Island to the borders of the Imperial landscapes to be brought into the heart of Raven territory for various uses. The high mountain ranges make it hard for low pressure air currents to seep over the tops, meaning that the whether of Portstan is constantly at a comfortable 19-25c all year round, tropical fruits and fish are also exported from Jye'Klar. Another thing to note about Portstan is the varied denotation for clan-based support. While Jye'Klar is technically the largest town on the island, there are many more villages and towns which scatter there support for groups.

[7] : Jye'Klar
  No calmer and more welcoming a place in Eden is the large town of Jye'Klar.. Once home to a village of warrior peoples which brought there noble and honorable ways to the small island of Portstan- The town itself uses the Drachill, the tri-island currency of Renaeo, Syrain and Portstan although gold and other raw materials used in the world are also widely accepted although more honorable foundations such as large business's like weapons manufacturers will require Drachill as any king of payment. On the outer bounds of the town lay large wild forests which have never been felled by the locals as they were believed to be holy woods. Though the woods themselves are not forbidden territory, to the contrary- you will be encouraged by the locals to visit them, its best to make sure you don't litter or carve on the tree's. Large sailing boats come and go to Feriton on a daily basis, 12 boats come and 12 leave during the course of the day, and the trip takes no more than an hour.

[8] : Redemption
  As hard as it is to get information on the Raven Foundations military power- Its well known that "Redemption" is an area sealed off to the world by Raven law and within lies a military establishment under the Foundations funding and rule. Any sailing ships which try to pass within 50 nautical miles of the installation are met by large well-decoraited and curiously designed cruiser ships bearing the Raven crest upon them, ships are ordered to leave the area or be destroyed. The same can be said for the land around the installation too, as to cross within the 50 mile perimeter is a death sentence.
