| New Moon April 1, 2003 Commentary Chart For so many years that I have lost track, my new moon astrology charts focused on new beginnings, the projects to be started that their abundance might be celebrated at Harvest. With the onset of 9/11 things have been different, the world as I know it has changed, the economy once thriving and abundant has gone into decline and loss, retirements once planned for are now so far off in the future they are nolonger visible. I look to astrology to see how my Country is fairing, which as one of its People, my Country now has my undivided attention. Because the actions of my Leaders have reactions on my Nation... The new moon is in Aries 11 degress in the 4th House of the People, woohoo fire up the American People. The new Moon is square the U.S. Natal Sun, which I'm simply going to interpret as there is a tension between the People and the President. The new Moon is also drawing an exact oppostiton with the U.S. Natal Saturn in the 10th House, the President again. Here the Saturnian constriction, or Task Master may be brought to bare. People are asking pointed questions. Are there seeds of scandal with Richard Perle's departure? Things coming out of nowhere to stun and shock, what's going on with the !2th House, wherein lies he enemies of state. Could secrets and unknown enemies come spilling out with the South Node breaking out of the dark secretive Scorpionic control into 0 degrees Sagittarius of Fiery Centaur seeking freedom of expression fame? Hmm...anything else coming from the 12th House? Oh gee, smack dab on the 12th House Cusp sits transiting Juno in her Scorpionic form making a karmic aspect in direct opposition to the U. S. natal Vesta on the 6th House cusp, military armies. Juno here bodes death and destruction. Well yeah, we're wreaking death and destruction in Iraq. My concern here is that our Troops are going to be the focus of that death and destruction. But that's not all, looking into the aspects which are impacting the 6th House, our men and women in uniform, we find transiting Mars conjunct transiting Chiron in the U.S. 2nd House of substance, money, and these are trine our US forces in the 6th House. Eric Francis in his current piece has this to say about the Mars-Chiron conjunction ~ "As it works out, the coming Mars-Chiron conjunction falls the same day as the Aries new moon. Auspicious? Well, some people like their music loud. Some results of this conjunction, which happens once every two years, will show up immediately, and more of them will appear around the time of the next full moon, in Libra on April 16. But most disturbing is that this astrology coincides with the probable date range of the Battle for Baghdad, words that already ring with infamy. " This is very bothersome, for although I am against Mr. Bush's war, I am for our American Troops and their safe return to our own shores. Something unknown this way comes. So with a shiver I ran the chart for the New Moon set for Washington, DC (chart). The Moon sits in the 8th House of Death/Regeneration. More bothersome. Bush's stirred to anger the entire MiddleEast, North Korea is ramped up, China is getting itchy, and they have a huge very bored army, Iran and Syria both figure they're on the hit list, man remember Custer! In the meantime, Pluto is still doing it's tap dance on our National image. Pluto is still in opposition to the U.S. natal Mars and with the transiting Saturn energy fading off, Mars is freewheeling it. The new moon is trine to the U.S Asc., this is good, we are indeed being remade as a Nation and the People want some input into that IMAGE! It seems to me, that we are in for an extended season of death and destruction, what a harvest we may have at Summer Solstice, I shudder to think. For we may very well reap the whirlwind. Be it all this doom and gloom at a time of planting and new starts the People are starting to ask questions, questions about poor planning, incompetance, delusions and illusions, fake facts, lies. Americans are not stupid, complacent often, but stupid, no, in shock, probably, Aries Moon in the 4th House, look out the mood of the People is shifting. |
