NMSU anti-moxa eigenvector

presented by Corina Vela

What is NMSU anti-moxa eigenvector?
The "NMSU anti-moxa eigenvector" is a phrase created by Dr. Nigel Ward, professor in the University of Texas at El Paso, to create a competition among his students for the class of Search Engine Technologies. The aim of this assignment is to learn different techniques that can be applied to a webpage to improve its position in a Google search. For this, every student taking this class (including me) has to create a webpage where the keywords are formed by the phrase "NMSU anti-moxa eigenvector".

Where this idea comes from?
The first competition created with this same objective was created by two organizations, Dark Blue and Search guild, to search engine optimization. The nonsense phrase formed for this competition was "nigritude ultramarine".

Which are the techniques that I am using to improve the ranking of this webpage?

Meta tags: Give search engines and browsers a detailed description of your website.

META-Description tag: Search engines will often use the information in the META Description tag as well as the Title to describe your site in the short description that goes along with the link in your search engine rankings.

Meta-KEYWORDS tag: The META keywords hold words that you can use to help search engines classify your content. The keywords you use must be relevant and must appear in the body text.

Body text: It contains the keywords of my webpage, but not in excess.
Relevant links: Some links in this page points to web pages that have a good ranking, and two external pages are pointing to this webpage.
