Cool Photog
brushed past him when we were crossing the road today. still thinks that he is the coolest photographer i ve ever seen. okie i m gushing like a secondary school girl but i think he has star quality; objectively (i dunno how objective i am), he has got good skills, good looks and a good personality to boot. actually i think that the problem with most photogs is that they get so professional they become very egoistic. well maybe that is a flaw inherent in the trade itself but he really feels like the most humble of them all(and with good looks and good skill to boot hahahaha), maybe tt's why he's popular :P

PS: i sound like i m doing a promo, but of course good things are always taken and no need to promo :O

Railway
Just heard over the news that Singapore has decided to solve the railway issue with Malaysia by taking it to the ICJ. hmmm...what started out as a personal project turned out to have a bit of news value ha. but i really hate to see the railway go, and i secretly hope that Singapore doesn't not get the land so that it can built more useless shopping malls and over-priced pigeon-hole-size-unit condominiums

Sad Eyes
"Why do you look so sad? Don't be sad."

Haha this song is dedicated to my LH, who is always moping ard in a corner and has a mournful expression when it doesn't see ghostie.

Every day here you come walking
I hold my tongue, I don't do much talking
You say you're happy and you're doin' fine
Well go ahead baby, I got plenty of time
Sad eyes never lie
Sad eyes never lie

Well for a while I've been watching you steady
Ain't gonna move 'til you're good and ready
You show up and then you shy away
But I know pretty soon you'll be walkin' this way
Sad eyes never lie
Sad eyes never lie

Baby don't you know I don't care
Don't you know that I've been there
Well if something in the air feels a little unkind
Don't worry darling, it'll slip your mind

I know you think you'd never be mine
Well that's okay, baby, I don't mind
That shy smile's sweet, that's a fact
Go ahead, I don't mind the act
Here you come all dressed up for a date
Well one more step and it'll be too late
Blue blue ribbon in your hair
Like you're so sure I'll be standing here

Beautiful Egrets
hmmm...dun get impatient with me cos i m going to ramble abt animals again. for those pple who travel to and fro for school (NTU) dunno if anyone noticed this; at approx 6.30 everyday, flocks and flocks of egrets (those big white birds) will fly towards the sunset. they will have an arrow like formation and every few seconds one flock flies past (theres so many of them!) can see them quite clearly from the mrt station and on the mrt. that such a magnificient sight can be seen in the dreary surroundings of boon lay is unbelievable but it exists. once again, i m so tempted to take pictures of them but i dunno where and how :( what can i say, it's just a beautiful sight, like discovery channel right in front of yuor eyes. and nobody appreciates them :(

aniweiz, i printed some of my photos today, they look okie but not fantastic. (well i keep reminding myself that it's a GE tho i really love the module) everyone seemed to like the cat photothe best. i thot that was so-so. sherlyn wanted a print of it to hang in her room, said it was very artistic haha. actually to me, when i saw the cat, it was the most natural thing to do to crouch on all fours just so i cld take a pic of it sleeping under the seats. you just gotta take it from somewhere ard the cat's level yeah... i m not creative, i can't think of any other way. dunno why when i showed the photo to other pple, artistic is the word that keeps popping up. i still like the bridge photo better ha, cos i "risked my life for it" :P. no lah, just that there's a sense of adventure when i took the photo . din do much to get the cat pic, except to go as near it as possible without waking it up. i think cats are smarter than that, it definitely knows i m there, just that it can't be bothered with a silly girl who's trying to take its photo. i like cats, they've got attitude.

Walking in the Rain
i' ve just gone for a two hour walk and got myself drenched in the rain. and nobody will ever believe that any mom ll do tt w her daughter but i went with my mom ha. it wasn't deliberate but we kept right on and the rain just got heavier. and the funny thing was , when we finally manage to make it back home, my mom still went to buy ice-cream. dunno if i ll catch the death of a cold doing all this, but still feel pretty amused by it all. :P
