24 hour race

hey all,

24 hour race went down in spokane this past weekend. it went well, and our team won. I did 6 laps, each lap was 15 miles with some beautiful scenery. I rode my Mount Vision for the majority of the race, which may have been a taaad too much travel. On one of my night laps, the lights went out, and that was unhappy. Overall, a great experience.

Hey all bazillion people who read this. 

The season is just starting, and so far things are going, well, alright. I snapped my chain in the first expert race of WSMBS, which put a quick end to my day of racing.  

 Next came the seattle bike expo, which was a great time. I worked for nuun, and picked up an awesome new sponsor, Ergon.  The big green grips are so lovely to my hands, and I ordered a pack. I'll do a write up of the pack when I get it, so stay tuned.  

 Otherwise, I've just been training a lot.

Hey All,

Happy new year! I'm having a blast training, and I'm putting in at least 12 hours of something a week. running, light weights,  squats, other core (or Kore?) work. 

A few new developments this year:

1) I'll be riding on WTB tires and saddles. Contact and traction points are the most important feel parts of the bike, and WTB has been in business longer than anyone. That means something.

2) I'll actually be riding some road. I've joined up with team ASC racing, and am looking forward to start riding with them.

 Also, I'll be updating the blog more often during race season.

yep ,thats me, always horsing around.  That was from an awesome weekend at local riding are Fort Ebey. I had a great time teaching young riders from a local middle school the ways of the mountin bike. Anyway, I'm back at fun ol high school. Got done with xc season about a week ago, had a really good time, and stayed in shape. I'm not going to race cross this year, so maybe my grades will go up. I'm pretty excited to see the new 08 marin bikes.  Faster and even better than ever.  Anyway, It's time for dinner now, so adios.

It's been about 2 months since I've updated this thing. Anyway, in the mean time I've been riding a whole lot, racing a bit, and staying out of trouble.
I went riding with some friends in Capitol Forest about a month ago to break in my new bike.
Yup.
A new bike.
Marin Bikes stepped up and helped me out, now I'm riding a shiny white indian fire trail. fast.

The photo is from a race on whidbey island. I was in 4th untill I had a really bad crash. Ouch. had a bit of trouble walking for the next few weeks, and the worst part was that I racked up my third, yes third DNF this year. That is bad. I've had alot of mechanicals (none on my Marin), and some bad crashes.
grr.
Anyway, I haven't been training all that terribly hard in the past few weeks, mostly because of my leg. I have a race in mid june I'm going to beast at. so watch out.

Update
Hey all,
Just been riding alot, along with the WASL's -Washington Assesment of Student Learning. The bike expo was a few weeks back, I had alot of fun talking with bike people and trying to get sponsored. I'll have news next week sometime.

At the shop
Man, yesterday was a killer at the shop.. I had to clean cement off of a tubular track wheel. fun. I think I lost a few brain cells. Anyway, going out for a ride today, no racing at seatac unfortunately.
