Welcome to class! My name is Professor Morgana Soredamors and I will be teaching you a course in Magizoology. As some of you may already know, I also teach another class at Hogwarts, Divination.
In the word magizoology, "magi" stands for "magical," and "zoology" means "the study of animals". So therefore, we can conclude that magizoology means "the study of magical animals." Magizoology is a very important subject in the wizarding world and over my years of study in this subject I have come to know and understand more and more about the magical creatures that live in this world. |
In this course, you will learn about a wide variety of magical animals, even from Hippogriffs to merpeople! Before you begin your journey through the world of fantastic beasts, I suggest you read the "Course Syllabus, Rules, and Requirements" page as it contains vital information on how to turn in coursework. I also strongly urge you to complete each lesson in this course and turn in the homework. I love awarding points to my students, but I cannot do so unless you do the coursework.
