National Society Daughters of the American Revolution 1776 D Street, NW Washington, DC 20006-5303 ========================== March 8, 2006 ===================== Enclosed please find my lineage with some documents attached. Preparing our family tree has been quite an adventure. === As soon as we found connections to Gideon Moon and to George Little, we found your book excerpts on ancestry.com showing the testimony of our Peter Bozeman of South Carolina before he brought his family to Montgomery, Alabama. His son Peter Edward Bozeman born in 1832 had my great great grandfather John Thomas Bozeman. Documentation would be very difficult as the Archives Building only started keeping birth and death records after 1900 but I can provide some census records and certainly need your suggestions. I am also attaching a check for $20.00 to help with the cost of any research or copies you might have to offer Looking forward to hearing from you, ======= Peter Bozeman and Ralph Bozeman, sons of Mordicai Boseman were all in the American Revolution in a South Carolina Regiment. Peter Bozeman's testimony is online under the DAR Books located on Ancestry.com plus he is found on the Cheraws District, Darlington, SC census records of 1790, 1800, 1810, 1820 but later found in Montgomery Alabama in 1830. === His son Peter Edward Bozeman born 1832 married Nancy Jane Anderson and had John Thomas Bozeman in 1866. Nancy Jane Anderson descends from Rev War Patriot Elisha Anderson. John Thomas Bozeman married Alice Stephens and had Lorena Emma Bozeman in 1892. Alice Stephens descends from Rev War Patriot John Stephens. Lorena married Charles Allen McClain in 1908 and had Emma Alice McClain. Charles was in WWI. Alice McClain married Corporal Cecil Earl Carter about 1931 and had Anne Alice Carter. Anne married Frankie Lavern Cochran in 1951 ========== Captain George Little, South Carolina Regiment 1778, taken prisoner at Charleston 1780 Jonas Little Hiram Lucius Little was bron 2/8/1821 John Wright Little was born 12/4/1843 in KY Lattie Cedonia Little married Benjamin Coonfield Luella Coonfield, daughter of Benjamin W Coonfield, born 2/8/1897; she married Frank Delbert Cochran and had my father, Frankie Lavern Cochran on 5/7/1927 Frankie married Annie Carter in Montgomery AL 9/1/1951 REFER to application of Mrs. Laura Simmons Little Hawes, National # 57,077 of KY approved 10-20-1927 ============================================== Martha F Coonfield About this database Indiana Marriages from 1845 to 1920.
