Mister Productive
I was lying here about 3:00 today, after I got home from work, talking to AMBER on the phone, and I was thinking, "Boy am I tired. I could lie here and take a nap for an hour or so, or I could get up and go get a haircut, wash my truck, mow the grass, etc." So I opted to get some stuff done. I went and got my hair cut. On my way back, I stopped off at the car wash and sprayed off the truck. There was a HOTTIE there vacuuming out a Windstar. That was a little odd. She really didn't look old enough to have kids. lol Got home a little after 4:00, then I changed, stretched, and went RUNNING. Got back, showered, and ran to WAL-MART to pick up a few things. Saw MICHELLE up there. Got back just a few minutes ago. Sitting here watching SEINFELD. Going to eat at the MEXICAN restaurant at 7:00. Guess I'll come home and watch the YANKEES. I can't believe the stupid FALCONS are on MNF. It's bad they're on every single Sunday due to regional coverage in this area. Gripe, gripe, gripe... lol

SEIN, on scuba diving... "I even bought a waterproof watch. What a waste. Gee, I'm completely out of oxygen, and... look at the time. So I'm dead, and late." lol

I feel better today than I have in at least two or three weeks. Thanks to you all for your concern.

Don't miss "You've Got Mail" tonight at 7:00 Central on TBS, as well. lol I love that movie!!

Oh man!! The worlds colliding episode is on right now. Gotta go! This is a CLASSIC! It's also the one where KRAMER does the movie phone. ROFL

Quote of the day...
Man, if I had it to do all over, I'd give it all up just to go back and pursue those white-rapper dreams.

ROFL

I think we've all felt that way before. Oh wait. What? Well it's about lunch time I suppose. Sorry to post so much today, but I am BORED.

Little Nibbler is in no way associated with any white, west coast, east coast, gangsta, old school, mainstream, or other rap artist, record label, or producer. Word to ya mutha.

Whole lotta nothin' goin' on...
We are still down here at work. So nothing exciting has happened, not that it ever does. lol Doing my daily blog-scan, it looks like a few people are off work today for C-Day. As I was telling J-MO earlier today during an interesting online chat session, they're like the Soviet space program around here. Their theory is, the cheaper the better, with little or no regard for durability, reliability, or human life. Our World War II-era equipment doesn't seem to be performing too well here as of late.

Somehow, we got off on the subject of concubines, and I posed the question, "Why don't we have concubines anymore?" They had them in olden times. We came up with several theories... ranging from smaller houses to women's lib to too expensive. lol I, for one, am sort of glad. It's hard enough finding one wife. I'd hate to think I had to round up five or six concubines.

OK, the most popular search string for my site is definitely the AOL sting commercial. I got like 3 more hits from it. Also got a hit for Moulton, AL, and for Reese's Inside Out. See people, if you talk about what's happening and the current events in pop culture, your blog will receive hits. lol

MNF should be a thriller tonight--the Rams and Falcons. Oh joy. Hopefully, the YANKEES will be on at that time. And why have the Cubs already played five games, and the Yankees only 3? I know, one was rained out, but it seems like they'd keep them as even as they could, otherwise one team will have an advantage, most likely.

Well, that's all for now.

"Take me down to a Paradise City where the grass it green and the girls are pretty... take me home.. yeah yeah.."

Is it your birthday, or are you just glad to see me?
Monday, Monday, la laaa, laaa la la laaa... so good to me.. la laaa... *YAWN*

Back at work, since I don't work for the federal, state, or county government. Today is COLUMBUS DAY. The weekend's just go faster and faster it seems. Watched the COWBOYS win yesterday, 23-21. We're 4-1!! That is nearly unbelievable. The YANKEES were rained out last night. The MARLINS stayed alive.

After church last night, I met KYLE up at APPLEBEES. Sat with DAVINA. Had the boneless wings. They were good. So as we're sitting there, KYLE is like, "Are we gonna do anything for her birthday?" It was last Thursday I think, and she is such a sweetheart and one of our favorites up there. Anyway, about that time BUNNY calls KYLE and they're on the phone for half an hour. lol So during this time I walk up to DAVINA and start chatting, asking what her favorite dessert is, because she had said earlier she was thinking about getting something chocolate. She said she liked the cheesecake. So I went over to JADE and told her to order a piece of cheesecake for DAVINA and we'd pay for it. So they did. She was all surprised and stuff. She was like, "That was sooo sweet." So she hugged us and we left. It's always important to treat the ladies right. Our checks combined were probably 13 bucks and we tipped like seven, to make up for the night I didn't have any change.

We were talking about video games the other night. What was like your favorite early video game? Like Atari or something in the arcades, circa 1983. lol

You couldn't hardly beat that original Atari baseball game. You could fly around the screen and tag people out. lol And it was those block people. What about River Raid? I used to love that game. Missile Command was great, too, but man that got too stressful for me after you cleared about 8 or 10 boards or so. lol Remember the paddle control, that you used in like racing games and stuff? lol Breakout... that was a good one. Asteroids. I'd always try to keep it stationary. Seemed like once you started moving, you were in trouble. Then you'd pull down for hyperspace and appear off in the corner of the screen a centimeter away from a huge asteroid. lol Oh, and Defender!!! Oh man, I wish I still had my Atari.

Arcade wise, Galaga was always an early favorite. Frogger and Pac-Man of course... And Pole Position... I think every guy in America has heard the words "Prepare to qualify" in that sexy female voice. ROFL Remember when Nintendo came out. Two buttons and the game pad. lol Wooooohoooo! And Duck Hunt, with the little gun. lol Your dog would bark, and the duck would quack. It was so cool. My favorite two Nintendo games I think (after Super Mario, of course) were Commando and RBI Baseball. I used to play those games til the wee hours of the morning and my right thumb was blistered. Seriously. lol I wish I still had my Nintendo too. Hmm... I see a pattern developing here. I have the mind, body, and video game aptitude of a 17-year-old.

Alright... well we're having technical probs at work again, so it looks like I might actually get to surf the net a little today... oh wait. ROFL

"Her mind if tiffany-twisted. She got the mercedes bends. She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys, she calls friends..."

Relaxation
A relaxing afternoon... just finishing up lunch and watching football.

I finished 5-2 on my football picks yesterday. Pretty good. lol I was 2-2, but Georgia, Wisconsin, and Texas Tech came thru for me. Again, just for fun. I don't really gamble.

I ate more leftover casserole for lunch. Tasted a little different than it did the last time I warmed it up. Hmmm.. Well if I become violently ill, at least we'll have a pretty good idea of what it is. My stomach is already starting to feel a little funny. Hmmm. lol

Watching the COWBOYS/EAGLES. 'Boys are up 7-0 midway thru the 1st. How 'bout them Cowboys!! lol Hopefully, the YANKEES will win again tonight. I'm afraid the MARLINS are done for. I just hate the whole attitude of the Red Sox and Cubs. I halfway fogot the NASCAR race was even on last night. I didn't watch a bit of it. Stewart won. At least Newman didn't win again.

Went to CHURCH this morning. There are a few things I have bene thinking about a lot lately. One is that I am way too selfish. Maybe it's human nature to be selfish, but it's something I need to work on. Having these health problems has really made me refocus on trying to be a better person, realizing that sometimes I'm just drifting and not striving for the goal as hard as I should.

Another thing I've thought about since the whole RUSH fiasco, is this: Let him that thinketh he standeth, take heed lest he fall. (I Cor. 10, I believe) That may not be the exact wording, but that is the gist of it. Someone who spent their whole life criticizing others, attacking the faults of others, and in the end, his own faults are revealed. We all have faults. I have many many. I think we should have an attitude of love and compassion. And to me, I should be concerned first with the flaws in my own life. Of course it's so easy to see what's wrong with everyone else, and so much harder to see yourself objectively. Just some thoughts...

"Well I guess I've changed but yeah, couldn't you? After all we've been thru. Heaven knows I've been around, and around. And I guess I'll strain, well how about that? Here's my life, it's a doorstep... I've been around and around..."

Summarization
Quick recap of today's events:

I worked 'til Noon today. Went to CARDINAL and picked up some lunch for the fam about 1:30. Listened to the BAMA game. It was on pay-per-view, but I didn't buy it. We won 17-3.

Mostly watched football and the YANKEES/RED SOX game this afternoon. Yankees won 4-3! There was a big scuffle during the game and PEDRO pushed down Yankees coach DON ZIMMER, who is like 72 years old. That was pretty low right there.

I did go RUNNING this evening. Came home and showered. Talked to MATT for a bit. He said MICHAEL got married today. Man, I get tired of being single sometimes. I overheard MOM talkin' to someone on the phone the other day and she was all like "I worry about Jeff not having someone. It's so hard to find a good girl." That always makes you feel good :-\

Anyhow, KYLE called about 7:30 and said they were finishing up at the band competition and were coming to town to eat. So I met up with them around 8:00 at the steak house. It was TAG, KYLE, SHANE, MELODY, and then two people I didn't know, JEFF and TRACY. They seemed really nice. Saw my uncle, aunt, and cousin there. Also saw David Marsh. Shane and I were talkin' to him. I had a hamburger steak and baked potato and it was really good. The girl that waited on us used to live in my apartments here. She remembered me. She was lookin' really cute, and talked to us awhile. I can't remember her name. Mulva? Celeste? Bovary? Delores? ROFL

Otherwise, just been crashin' at the crib. Didn't feel quite as good today as I have the last couple of days. I dunno what's wrong. Just try to keep going and put it out of my mind. Mind over matter, right? Besides, I'm tired of complainin' and feel like I've been selfish ever since I've been sick.

Oh! I did chat with BUNNY online for a couple of minutes this afternoon. Wow, that's the first time her name has popped up on IM in like a year. She was doing fine.

"There are people in your life who've come and gone. They let you down and hurt your pride. Better put it all behind you, life goes on. You keep carryin' that anger, it'll eat you up inside..."

Optimization
Here are a few tips I've come up with to help optimize your blog, and make your blogging experience enjoyable, for you, and others:

Blogging should never be a chore. You don't have to blog everyday.

Blogging should never make you umcomfortable. If there is something you don't want to share, then don't. You don't have to give names or people and places to have a good blog.

Keep a notepad or tape recorder nearby during the day. Make a note of your interesting thoughts, comments others make, noteworthy events that occur, and your ideas for the advancement of the militia. Oh wait. lol

I just got a hit from a search for "Jeff Moulton." lol What's ironic is this guy is apparently a semi-popular DJ in NY. lol But the first site that comes up on Google is Bone's Blog. lol Yeah babee!

Other random thoughts:

I didn't realize TED MCGINLEY was in "Revenge of the Nerds." It was on Comedy Central when I came home yesterday afternoon. So he was in that, Happy Days, and Married With Children. lol Cool.

There was a minor traffic snarl-up on the Interstate yesterday. This white car (95 Taurus, maybe) was in the left-hand lane, holding up the faster cars. If there are more than like two cars behind you, it's time to get over. lol There should be like two driving tests. One for driving around Anytown, and a freeway test. If you can't pass the freeway test, you can't drive on the interstates. Yes, I will propose this legislation.

That's all I know. KYLE called this morning. Said they may be coming over to my town after the band competition to eat at the steak house. lol If so, I'll probably join up with them. Big day for college football...

"And inside, I play with shadows. And inside, I know, I know, I know, that I'll feel this way all day. And outside, there's hope for trying. And inside, I'm dying..."

Solution...
OK, here's the answer to today's trivia question:

The episode that Elaine did not appear in is pretty easy. It was the first episode, the pilot, called "The Seinfeld Chronicles."

Neither George nor Kramer appeared in "The Pen." That episode is set in Florida as Jerry and Elaine are visiting Jerry's parents. This is the only episode that George Costanza did not appear in. However, Kramer did not appear in a second episode. You're gonna kick yourself when I tell you, because it is one of the more famous episodes. But Kramer also did not appear in "The Chinese Restaurant." That entire episode was, of course, set in a restaurant with Jerry, George, and Elaine waiting for a table. It truly lived up to the shows theme of being about nothing. So, there you go. Now, back to the blog. lol

Had DOMINO'S for lunch. It was great! I tell ya, I'm sick of seeing these HARDEES Thickburger commercials. Look Hardees, no one is trying your crappy food. Why don't you try selling another products--maybe diapers or tires or something. lol Either that, or just close after breakfast.

I was reading where one of the snipers, MALVO, is planning to plead insanity. What a cop out! Oh well. It's really surprising more people don't use the defense I guess. Just pay off a psychiatrist. It's the first time I remember hearing it in a major case though since Hinkley.

I see RUSH has finally admitted he has a problem and is seeking help. Well that's good. I can relate. PAINKILLERS are definitely good stuff. At least the radio waves will be calmer, more peaceful for awhile... ahhh. SERENITY NOW!

I thought KYLE and I might shoot some BILLIARDS today. But his car is still not fixed, and as we all know, he doesn't like to drive the other car. lol

"I guess it's been a good year, for roses and aggressions, for flowers and freeways. And I guess I'll put a smile on, and get a new girlfriend. Yeah, put a new hat on..."

Lunar-ation?
LOL I think I just figured out why everything is so crazy today and people are calling like nobody's business. One of the ladies just said there was a full moon last night--never fails.

In other news, I just noticed last night driving to 'Catur that my window wasn't making its usual loud, whirring noise. I think when they put the bushing in the door, it must have fixed that problem. All this time, I thought it was the window, or the seal around it. But I think now that it was just that the door was hanging down from where it should be. I noticed it when I was on my cell phone. I was like, "Hey does it sound quieter than it usually does when you're talking to me?" lol Man, that thing used to sound like the door had blown open on a jet. So now, I guess my cabin is properly pressurized again. lol

Wow, I can't believe the COWBOYS are 3-1. Having a great coach obviously makes a huge difference in the NFL. Hopefully, we can beat the EAGLES Sunday... I hope, I hope.

Oh man, THE SOUP NAZI and THE VAN BUREN BOYS were both on yesterday. As you may or may not know, The Soup Nazi is like my favorite all-time ep. "No soup for you! Come back one year!" And The Van B Boys is good, too. That's the one where Mister Peterman buys stories from Kramer to use in his autobiography, which Elaine is ghost-writing. lol KRAMER calls to try and buy his stories back, and he's like, "Uh hello... Mister Peterson?" ROFL

How about a SEINFELD trivia question? ELAINE and GEORGE were each absent from one episode of SEINFELD. The KRAMER character did not appear in two different episodes. Which episodes were they? I'll answer in my next blog entry. lol

"I got a hole in me now. Yeah I got a scar I can talk about. She keeps a picture of me, in her apartment in the city..."
