I had a good time with my daughter at Sunday's KC Royals game with some other at-home dads from the KC group. We had to dodge the rain and storms. The Royals have a family four pack deal...4 tix, 4 drinks, 4 Dogs, and peanuts for only $40. If you plan to do this, contact the KCDADS by link on the left and see if they'll go with. A good group of dads.

The Ch 42 story is available on their website www.kptm.com go to "video to go" and then "women matters" and its titled "Daddy Daycare". I don't know why its titled that since Mike doesn't run a daycare. I can't believe the reporter actually called Mike a "Domestic Diva". If you want to know the rest of my opinion on the story, ask me at a playgroup or dads night out.

Hockey Deadline is Tuesday Ap 10 if you want to sit with group. Tix are $12 adult and $8 youth. Game is Sat April 14 7pm at the MAC in Council Bluff. Lincoln Stars at Omaha Lancers.

Dads Night Out.....Wed April 11 7:30 Northride Apartments clubhouse in Gretna. 20222 Glenmore Drive Take S 20th off of HWY 370 Complex is just East of the water tower. There will be at least one portable grill if you want to bring something to grill. This is a bring your own everything...beverage, food, plates, utensils, etc.

Ch 42 News Story
A story on at home dads and our group should run Wed Ap 4 during the 9pm news on Omaha Ch 42. They interviewed Mike on Tuesday for the story.

Hockey Game 4/14
Still not much of a response for a group outing at the Stars/Lancers at MAC Sat April 14 7pm. I will be there with my 10 year old daughter. Its up to you about kids. If we want to sit together, we need some definite responses soon.

Gretna Dads Night Out Wed 4/11
I've set up a dads night out in Gretna to try to get some Lincoln dads involved in the group. This will be at the Northridge Apartments Clubhouse, 20222 Glenmore Drive in Gretna. The clubhouse has a tv, couches, hi-top tables, and small kitchen. There is no grill to cook. If someone wants to bring a grill (talked about at least week's DNO), let me know. This is a bring your own beverage, snacks, utensils, plates, etc. Gathering time is 7:30, Wed April 11.
