What the enemy might be thinking..
Mood:  spacey
Topic: Politics
"six retired U.S. Marine and Army generals have denounced the Pentagon planning for the war in Iraq and called for the resignation or firing of Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld"

I heard this on the news yesterday, and just now read it at townhall.com

Think about what about is being said above. If you were the enemy, how would you take it? Six,retired, generals of the USA military are asking for the resignation of our Secretary of the Defense. Does Donald Rumsfeld know what he is doing? And if these generals don't believe in their Secretary of Defense, they why should they think that the rest of the military believe.

The enemy might be getting the idea that the United States might not be handling everything the way it should be. Lets say that the president listens to the six generals, will his resignation solve anything?

Why have problems with books of fiction?
Mood:  irritated
Now Playing: BEG - Evans Blue
Topic: Books
Many people have read The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. Which I believe is one of the best books I have ever read. A summary of the book is listed below:

" A murder in the silent after-hour halls of the Louvre museum reveals a sinister plot to uncover a secret that has been protected by a clandestine society since the days of Christ. The victim is a high-ranking agent of this ancient society who, in the moments before his death, manages to leave gruesome clues at the scene that only his granddaughter, noted cryptographer Sophie Neveu, and Robert Langdon, a famed symbologist, can untangle. The duo become both suspects and detectives searching for not only Neveu's grandfather's murderer but also the stunning secret of the ages he was charged to protect. Mere steps ahead of the authorities and the deadly competition, the mystery leads Neveu and Langdon on a breathless flight through France, England, and history itself."

I am, what I would say, a new believer in faith. I have a strong belief in Christianity and I am learning a lot from reading, listening and watching friends and family. When I heard that people are going to put together a protest when the movie comes out in May.. I almost got mad. First I thought.. 'People are just protesting every stupid thing possible' and then my second thought was 'why people can't figure out the difference between fiction and the truth.'
They are protesting because they are afraid that people will take what is written in the book as truth. The number one group who are protesting are the Catholic churches. Well.. because they are the ones most affected by what is written down. Well.. if they have a strong belief in their religion, they shouldn't have anything to worry about. I know what I believe, and I'm not going to have anybody sway my belief. It's a book.. and a movie. Fiction, for entertainment.
