Not much to report. Three new recruits have joined the guard, Carsin,                           Ayanna, and Jack.

                   After several days of command, I felt fit to promote Carsin from sergeant                          to First-Lieutenant after a battle between some evil spawned creature that                              greatly resembled a spider. Despite a broken leg on my part and several                              injuries to Carsin from the creature, he and I managed to slay the thing, assuring                       safety to the inhabitants of the land, from that particular being.
