Preliminary list of stakeholders:
Students: Perform better in school. This will primarily be attained through organization.
Instructors: Easier correspondence with students; Higher percentage of students in a class for the right reasons.
Administration: Less phone calls/visits related to holds and information; Better focus on students to use as recruiting;Higher percentage of passed classes and graduation increase.
Contributions
Students will have to contribute time to the system to enter in information and data. Students may also have to pay a fee for the system's implementation if decided by Administration.
The school will have to contribute money unless a grant can be attained. There will be a cost to the software used. There will not be any additional hardware needed. Students will have the option of running the software on their PDA to sync information. The information will be stored in the same place where current student information is stored. Students will be able to access OUR FAMU and update and change informaion. The software will allow for syncing of information between it, the OurFAMU database, and a PDA.
