Nerf War Rules

1. Each team will consist of 6 players.

2. Each team will face off for the duration of one week. At the end of the week the team with the most remaining players will advance to the next round. Each team faces single elimination and cannot re-enter the war at any point after being eliminated. Unless your team moves on to next round.

3. There will be designated safe-zones and times when players cannot be shot. Later safe-zones and safe-times may be added throughout the game upon discretion of NERF WAR Commissioners. Safe zones are as follows:

• Any Fairfield City School District property (Ex: The High School parking lot)
• Inside of your or a fellow teammates house. (Ex: you can be shot on your porch, deck, or in your driveway, you are only safe if entire body is in your house. Garage’s are also included in safe zone, so you cannot be shot while in your garage)
• Your place of work and only your place of work is safe for you however walking to your car after your shift is fair game to be shot.
• In church services or in the parking lot within an hour of the church service.
• Inside the Underground on Monday nights or in the parking lot but only on Monday nights.

4. All weapons and guns used must be official NERF brand. Any kill without a NERF brand gun will result in automatic disqualification of player who used the weapon. No modifications to guns will be allowed.

5. NO and absolutely NO physical force may be used to eliminate a person from the game. If this is done the entire team will be disqualified from the game.

6. The game will be played by the honor system and the shooter and person shot calls the kill. (be fair) If I hear the words, “It hit my shirt or I didn’t feel anything” both players are automatically called out.

7. The cost to enter the war will be $10 per person.

8. No team may enter unless you have 6 players or a full team.

9. Teams may be co-ed, all male, or all female.
10. Competition runs from midnight on Sunday through midnight on the following Sunday for the designated week of competition.
11. Destruction of private property is banned and is grounds for disqualification.
12. Blocking a team's car on a cul-de-sac or residential street is discretionary, but the player will be disqualified if caught disrupting the flow of traffic. Blocking of driveways is against the law, and calls for disqualification.
13. The reason you have not seen the NERF WAR in the last year was because of to many complaints. This game was created to be fun and not overly competitive. Should the commissioners hear to many complaints from players and or parents it will result in automatic dismissal of team.

CAUTIONS!
1. Please do not get caught with a NERF gun at school, cover all NERF guns left in cars while in school, and do not get caught with NERF guns at a school events either. (certain situations may result in dismissal of game if necessary)
2. Do not cause panic in public places.
