AAA

Band name: Attack All Around (also known as "AAA," "Triple A," and katakana "トリプル・エー")
Members: Nishijima Takahiro, Uno Misako, Urata Naoya, Hidaka Mitsuhiro, Atae Shinjiro, Gotou Yukari, Sueyoshi Shuuta, Itou Chiaki (8).
Genre: *non-genre* hence the group name "Attack All Around"

I've never seen a better group than these guys. It's true that they're pretty new to the J-Entertainment world, but it's amazing to watch them dance. Each person has his/her own special abilities; they all put on their best performance whether it's on stage or in the studio. It's unlikely to see people perform 14 songs in a row, with less than 10 minute breaks in between, plus 3 encores at the end, and at the same time, doing all this with a smile. Yah, they're not perfect. Both fans and non-fans (or should I say haters) have pointed out "mistakes all around" (joke from an AAA addict). However, that's due to the fact that they've been releasing one single every month and losing time to practice. Avex is pushing them hard (excuse my grammar), but that's great because they're gaining a lot more experience. The 2nd Attack tours have just ended, and their group goal - Tokyo Budokan - is drawing near >>September 13th, 2006<< I hope they will just continue to be themselves. Attack all around, trying everything out and spreading different kinds of music all over the world. Shoot for international promotion.

You guys can do it. d_(>_<)_b

Nishi: Your voice is really neat. Keep it up, especially when you're running out of breath. You've always done an amazing job when it happened.
Uno-chan: Your vocal is beautifully strong. I know you can keep it up throughout an entire concert because everyone else has got your back.
Urata: The team needs you to be leader! Good luck with everything you must do to keep the team spirit.
Hida-chan: Don't stop rapping (even though people have told you to stop lol). It's what keeps AAA alive during concerts; it's what lifts up everyone's spirit.
Shinjiro: You're the youngest, but also one of the most talented dancers in the group. Your voice is really cool, too. Keep it up!
Yukarin: My jaw just drops at all the crazy stuff you can do on stage. It's eye-catchy. Keep it up with your acrobatic skills and strong vocal!
Shuuta: The team won't be the same without you because you spiff up every performance with your mad break dancing skills. You also have the potential to do great things vocally.
Chiaki: There's a lot to say... Let's just say that watching you perform live is what keeps my eyes glued to the screen. When you're singing, you're smiling; when you're dancing, you're smiling; when you're almost all worn out, you're still smiling. You've said before that you don't really have any "special abilities." I think you can do amazing things.

DCCYC '06
Into marvelous light I'm running
Out of darkness, out of shame
By the cross You are the Truth
You are the Life, You are the Way

I'm just overwhelmed by God's plans for me the past five days at DCCYC. He opened up my heart to worship, to His Word, and to new fellowship. Nothing kept me from jumping up and down and just going crazy during praise time; Rocky's messages touched the core of my heart, and I was refueled spiritually. I had a great deal of sharing time with Bonnie, Esther, my new friends, my old friends, and last but not least, my cabin girls. =] I'll try my best to fight off Satan's temptations and keep doing devotionals consistently, as well as living right...because it's who we are that determines what we do. We are followers of Christ, so we must spread Jesus to the ends of the earth.

A first for everything
Mood:  d'oh
Now Playing: Fukai Mori // Do as Infinity
Today was youth-led worship. I gave my first message ever at a church. It was quite an amazing experience...seeing that pastors really need to work super duper hard every week to come up with something new and applicable to teenagers. I don't think I'd make a good pastor lol, but it's definitely a blessing to serve God. I've changed again, much different from the me that posted the previous entry. I hope I stay this way. Or even better, change for the good.

My grandma
Mood:  a-ok
Now Playing: Gone // Switchfoot
Today when I was doing my algebra stuff, mom came in and said, "Ah-ma wanted to give this handkerchief to you, plus a piece of gold, but I've already stored it in a safe place because it's worth much."

I chuckled and asked as if I didn't know what was going on, "Gold? And why handkerchief?" I picked it up. It smells like her. It smells like the old times when she took care of me. I remember those times very well, in vivid images.

"She said she thinks she's going to die very soon, so she wanted to give it to you."

I smiled again. I said nothing. All I could think of was this one time when I got really sick and had a running nose. We didn't bring any tissues, so she handed to me the handkerchief so I could blow my nose. I wondered if she was going to use it again. I wonder if I could ever see her again.

Then my mom told me, "You used to use it when you were little."

"I know that."

I really miss her.
