The Prince - Sometimes Beauty is like a mask, that masks those who possess it and those who are in love with it. In his face I saw a brightening sun ... of arrogance and I knew he was spoiled. but yet I knew not of how spoiled he was or why nor what circumstances made him spoiled. And I was far from the richest child of all the school. So why was it that everyone feared him in the school but not me? I could not understand. They did not speak of his "secrets" because they feared him. What had this child done to be so feared? what power had he had to become so feared? My two best friends feared him and hated him. I had befriended one of his "girlfriends" She was the most beautiful of them all and I admired her. Yet she feared him. His family cowered in fear and he made no act of friendliness towards his family nor act of love towards them. I only began to wonder. He laid eyes on me and looked away, disregarding me. I had brought my friends. they knew of him. He had wanted them before, he had wanted them to serve him before and they had warned me of it. But I ignored their warnings. He would not make a slave out of me. Yes they told me he was cunning an I knew he was smart, he aced his test with ease but yet talked to no one. But everyone knew of him and had to "love" him. He was known as Ryan. All-powerful Ryan. Whether it was his real name or not, I cared not for it. For I always knew that I was to be Deana and no one else, none else. And I cared not for names. But for the reason of clarification, I will introduced the names. My best friends were Leanne and Eulie. His girlfriend and my friend was Maya. We would all become friends. Maya was a strange character. She had parted from her family to be with Ryan because he was terribly feared. And I could sense in her heart, she did not love him. She only went with him for his power and her parents force. As far as I could see none of his girlfriends liked him at all. Of course one day he would marry his favorite and then the others would become his mistresses for they had nowhere else to go. Maya would be chosen, I knew it. She was so beautiful and his favorite. I could see him become tender towards her and soften at a glance towards her. He would buy her presents and give her the love that she deserved and she had to pretend to love him back. He was sitting with me in his "tea room" of course it was custom for us to have one, it wasn't new to me. Every time I came the same thing would happen, Maya would invite me at first to come but later I just came on a regular basis. This time, however she had not yet come to the room. So I was alone with Ryan. He called for a servant and she served us as always and then he asked her to call Maya. After a few minutes she came back and bowed. "Ryan, sir, she is not feeling well, she wishes that you be hospitable to her friend, Deana." I could see Ryan's disappointment in having me here, for he thought that I would not be kind towards him. He thought that I did not fear him, and he was right, I did not fear him. Something about him just made me want to become friends with him. Despite his awkward ways, I thought that if I were to be his friend, I may know more about him and get to know Maya's future husband. To his surprise. I spoke when the servant had left. "Hi, I don't believe we're well acquainted. Maya has always been here. I guess I should get to know u better." I knew he was surprised to hear me talk to him, and if so delighted that someone would talk to him. I smiled but he spoke harshly for he had nothing better to say, "Maya is mine and mine alone. No one shall have her but me and I should have u removed if she had not been here. And I shall have you removed once I win her heart." I filled with anger but I didn't' show it. For a person who has always been right, Ryan was about to feel what it feels like to be wrong. I said, "She does not love you the way that you love her.. I know that for sure. And if I am right you would never have me removed for I am the one who is closest to her, closes to influence her. And to have me removed would make her hate you bitterly, even after you have won her heart. is that not true, my lord?" I was mocking him and I knew that if I knew him very well or even slightly, I would not have had the courage. He drew aback but had no argument for it all. He had fell. He now hated me and I hated him. He looked away from me with disgust. He had lost for the first time. When I had left, he had run quickly to Maya's room and cried at her side. She thought we would get along. for I did not fear him like everyone else. She wanted the best for him but seeing him cry hysterically was a shock to her. But she knew that I had hurt his ego, his heart more than anyone had ever done. "Ryan, what's wrong?" "She's HORRIBLE!. I hate her. I thought u said I would like her and she would be nice to me. Maya shrunk into a corner with fear. He grabbed her by the shoulders and shook her violently. "Why can't you love me? Why? What have I done to you that is so horrible that you must hate me! I just want everyone to act normal towards me. Those who do not know who I am HATE me. They won't talk to me. Am I really that despised and horrible?" Suddenly her hugged her and started to cry. The next day, word had spread among his family and friends about me. They were amazed at me. They admired me for my bravery and I could not understand why. The rest of the school could not understand why his friends and family praised me. They all knew I was a person who would get what I wanted through manipulation. This was to them a small act of greatness. I felt sorry for him that his family and friends teased him about losing against me and I proceeded to be nice to him, without getting too close to him for his friends had warned me of it. Leanne and Eulie told me if I was too nice to him he would try to manipulate me to serve him. I was cautious of that but I still went further than their warning to be nice to him. Because of his laziness, teachers often times punished him and did not let him make up homework. Though I knew he could make them fear him, he didn't. That was one of the rules he had been taught, ignore the teachers, Do what is taught. Of course he still fought with them but always had to lose because he was too loud and arrogant. He did not try to sway them like he did to Maya. Finally I was sick of seeing him enraged by this and decided to show him how it's done. He had forgotten his permission slip to go on the class trip. It was the deadline for the slip ad he argued with the teachers. I stood up to give them my permission slip then saw him fighting with them. I carefully folded my slip and hid it in my pocket. Then went to the teacher. I sweetly said. "Excuse me, Mrs. Fochs, but I forgot my permission slip at home could I perhaps bring it tomorrow." She had already been enraged by Ryan's arguments and she was enraged by my request. "Deana! I said very clearly that it should be turned in today and no later. I had given you a week, why did you not turn it in before?" "Mrs. Fochs, you know very well that when you set a deadline, students always wait until the deadline to give in their slips. I could see the greed in Maya's eyes and I knew I hit the jackpot. To make everything even better in my perspective, I aimed to break her heart. I aimed to get Keith. "I guess your right, Deana, I should.." I smiled and left. I had one power that Maya also had, Keith had once liked Avan. And knowing the kind of person he was, I knew that he'd cheat on Maya with anyone. The next day, I told Maya to meet me after school to go to Ryan's house. When I got home I realized that I had lost a good friend and I cried but thinking of what he did I was happy, But I still cried. I cried in hatred. I remember all that I had given him and how happy I had been to be his friend and how much I had cared for him. I was so angry with him. I wanted to choke him, strangle him. But I knew I had done worse to him. I had given him a life of misery. And I was grateful for that. He knew that I had brought them together and he wanted to thank me. He invited me to his house but I told him calmly I didn't want to come. I hung up rudely and I hoped he would leave me alone forever. I had cared for him and he just used me. He used me for Maya. Deana, the hopeless Deana, I should never forget this. No one truly cared for me. I wanted to scream. The door bell rang and I dried my tears and fixed myself up. I was to be Maya's Maid of Honor and I knew that was Ryan coming to pick me up. He had sounded delighted over the phone. He had torn my heart out of me and my soul had left with it. We were unaware that guards had broken down the door and that the beautiful Maya had seen us. I looked at him with sad eyes and told him, "Look Maya I know that she did so many horrible things but you have already made a mark on her for life. It’s true, just like a magnetic field surrounded everyone, opposites attract and same sided folk repel. That is why everyone has so many weaknesses because they can't get their very own kind to side with them and make their strengths overcome their weaknesses. But I strived to find that similarity. Well at least that's what I thought until I met him. GOD now I see why there must be a magnetic field to repel. Our personalities were much the same but varied enough to create a huge connivance. And almost nothing varied. Our personalities, both out-going both egoistic. But that fact that we believed in morals brought what seemed like a peaceful treaty to and everlasting war. We believed in morals but our ideas differed greatly and that was one part of our magnetic field that seemed to attract. This mixture of attraction and repulsion lead to the end result of us attracting each other to argue over nonsense, repulsion and attraction. It was an ever-ending cycle of these mixed feelings and I came to hate him with my heart but love him for the adrenaline rush of conflicts with my soul. It all started with a simple issue of one test. We both got he highest grade. It was the first test and we both had lost our chance to prove our best. We glared at each other and refused to talk to each other even though I was obliged to by my friend who was friends with him. Oh what horror we brought upon Haily when her best friends fought. See she was in two schools at the time because she did half day at one and half day at another. It was a tradition with her family and they paid big money to have it done. In her afternoon classes I was her best friend and in her morning classes he was her best friend. She thought we would simply love each other because she believed we were soul mates, meant to be together as friends. She thought the same as me, that alike should attract and not the opposite. Long days I had waited to meet her "other" friend, Roy and finally we got to high school and we would meet. Oh what happiness and hope had been within her had faded and she knew we might never be friends. There we stood her best friends for life, arguing and bickering with each other, and she stood in horror as she watched. But never the less she still determined to bring us together by some mysterious scheme which only time could tell. After the first few months our hatred only grew like a huge balloon, the more you blow the more sensitive it is to aggravation. We fought over everything and disagreed on everything each other said. All Haily could do was watch us tear up each other's throats in hope of winning. Every time I hurt him it was like a blow on her. She was hurting more than Roy or me were. Until she finally couldn't take it anymore. She invited us unknowingly to her house one day in hope of our reunion and our lust for each other in the beginning to rekindle itself. When we both arrived at the same time, right at the time she said for us to come as we were always on time. We nearly killed each other as we saw one another there. She quickly rushed out and yelled, "ROY! KELLY! FOR ME STOP THIS. Just for one night!" She pleaded with longing eyes and that was both of our weaknesses. She knew we were alike enough to waver our stubborn ways with her master plans. We agreed in our love for friendship with Haily. But I had vowed not to change my mind about him. I had to prove everyone in the school wrong; wrong for saying we would be together despite our conflicts. We went in each with our own gifts for her. And then she took out our favorite movie, the Gladiator. Ah what she had to go through to please us both! She knew we agreed on EVERYTHING from favorite food to worst nightmare. Of course rite now my worst nightmare was he and his I. She knew that by showing us our similarities made us hate each other yet by that same power which pulled us apart, it would make us realize that the school might be rite. The more we watched the more I thought we might be soul mates. I, being like him, could tell that he came to the same conclusion as me. As the night wore on Haily became tired. She was always the tired one. Roy and me however, were always the late-night crawlers. We stayed up, knowing that if we didn't and went our separate ways, we'd hurt Haily. So I did what I knew I'd have to do, try to make friends with him for the sake of Haily. He knew the same of course. We let go of our stubborn ways and tried to talk to each other. We saw how Haily lay on the floor, the innocent child stuck in the middle of our conflicts and we knew we must do something. "Ok I guess your thinking we should try to become friends for the sake of Haily," I started "Yea you know it." "Well maybe we to off on the wrong foot. As the night continued I fell asleep, probably at the same time he did. I knew nothing would work. How I had cried for Haily, seeing her best friends torn and trying to beat each other and prove who was right. I felt myself crying and I knew he was crying to. I didn't have to hear him to know the pain because he suffered what I suffered. And I cried myself to sleep knowing my best friend would never find the peace she asked for and this would burn in her memory forever. The next morning I woke up to find us in each other's arms. I couldn't scream to wake up Haily and believe me she hates it when she's woken. I knew I couldn't break from his grip because he was stronger. But he woke up of course and we jumped up and out. Hell I thought what in the world was going on. What mysterious power had brought us to fall into each other’s arms while sitting on the bed? I guess in sleep while our magnetic fields are weakened by the lack of judgment, we just attracted. He was as appalled as I was. What had brought us together must've been strong and whatever that power was we feared it greatly. We found no reason in which to give in to that mysterious power and found all the reasons to fear it. Haily woke up happily full of hope only to be shattered and us in our pajamas staring at each other in anger. My lip quivered with hatred and Haily was afraid of what I might do. He stood there staring at me with utmost hatred. "Sleep well?" Haily asked, shivering and stuttering. She only hoped to cease the anger. "Yea." I replied and then turned away to pick up my stuff and walked to the bathroom. I heard their voices out side of the room. She tried to comfort him and coax him, but stubborn as he is, he refused to calm down. She hugged him lightly and then left to change She left him there to change by himself. The next day we refused to talk to each other. And for a whole week we didn't talk and people started to get suspicious. They wondered why our attraction to fighting had subdued. But after 1 week we started bickering again and everything was back to the way it was. Then one day, at our little club, Haily, Roy, and I had joined, something happened that would change the way we thought of each other. I was jumping around; quite excited for it was the special day when our lives would change. The art of stargazing and palm reading was soon to be ours. The teacher had left us to gaze upon the stars and to decipher what was to happen. After the teacher left but before everyone went to their stations, we were aloud to converse over techniques and I knew them so I was dancing around when all of a sudden, I slid and hit a vase. Oh the sheer pain of it, the agonizing pain. My forearm was bleeding out of control and a familiar Health lesson came to mind. "Out of control bleeding, if not treated, can cause victim to die." I was so afraid and I could barely keep conscious but I saw as everyone panicked screams in agony, "I don't remember the lesson." and Haily's terrified cries, "Oh my god! Save her. Someone." There was one who could save me, Roy. I knew he was the only one who remembered for he was the only one who knew it on the test other than me. Haily knew at once the signal I tried to give. She begged Roy, "Roy, I know you hate her but you love me and I know it. You’re my best friend and you would never hurt me. Yet these past months have been agonizing pain for me. When he was finished, he wrapped my wound gently. Then he cradled me in his arms, comforting me. He whispered sweet words in my ears, as I felt more and more drowsy. I felt towards him what I had never felt before. I felt warm and loved. I knew that's what he wanted me to feel. Everything was for Haily. He knew that his way into Haily's heart was through helping me. He knew he'd be the hero after this. How would I feel after this was over? I felt myself attracted to him before but now my whole vision of him had changed. I knew from experience this was the first sign of love I would have and once that part of myself had opened there was no closing it. Then he would be the hero of Haily and they would love each other and they would be together. I didn't feel hate towards him, no I felt love. The first signs of love. I didn't love him no, but the beginning signs have occurred and there was no way back. I knew that I would get over him. I knew I could, I'd just go back to Jake, the one I loved before, I knew I could make it work. I wasn't committed at the time but I loved him, more than I could love Roy. I knew it. Roy was just nice and saved my life and in every way like me. Why would I want that? After a week I got let out of my home where I was ordered to stay until I was better. After all I had arranged a meeting for Jake and me when he returned from his trip to New York so it'd be all over. I knew that Roy and Haily had already begun to love each other and I knew this because it was obvious by the way that they had reacted that they would love each other. Within days our daily routine of arguing had been recovered and I felt nothing of the feelings I felt before. Then the next week Haily fell ill. She wasn't at school and Roy and me were in the halls. Suddenly, he voice turned serious, "I need to talk to you Kelly. I have something I have to get off my chest." I was appalled at the sudden change but I listened. No other girl I wanted had a friend like you. When I held you in my arms I instantaneously felt something and I just wanted you to feel the same. I then comforted you, not for Haily but for you. The passion of meeting him had stayed within its cocoon, like a caterpillar, slowly evolving itself into the love that I felt right then. Our passion had evolved into our love. It was true what I had felt before I met him and only after these months have I realized. The kiss lasted for about 30 seconds but those were the best 30 seconds of my life. His soft lips on mine as I kissed him back like he had wanted to. I felt the full power of love and its plans for us. His kiss is my soul. His kiss was what I lived for, it's what I was set on earth for and then when all of it ended I knew that his love for me was real and that my love for him was real. What a sight it must've been for the passer-by's who stopped to look at us. In a flash it was over, my first kiss, first love's kiss. Tears rolled from my eyes and his and he smiled. For the first time I felt his smile as my own. We were one. I smiled back for his smile had lightened my day. I fell into his arms and we were crying in our happiness and joy. "I never thought that you'd love me the way I love you. When I felt those feelings I know that my heart would break if you rejected me. I knew that would happen but I had to tell you. Everlasting - Sometimes Warring States can become friends and learn to love eachother. I, Aura, had experienced a time of greatness and real life. I loved my life and still do. I drove myself into a bottomless pit and I had no way out. No one would talk to me or even pity me and I was the only loner in the school. I wanted to hide from the world, I wanted to run away to another country and only one hope remained in my possession, to apologize. I didn't know what I could do or say that would make him come back to me but I knew I had to get my life back. The next day it was the same routine. People would throw remarks at me and give me curious but nasty glares. I strode up to him and he seemed scared of me. he kept his head down and I had to lift his chin to talk to him. She was the one who brought Kyle to the edge with her taunting. it was her who suggested we should go out. well what a dream yet what a nightmare. Kyle looked like he would die at that moment. having his feelings revealed was something that he dreaded, feared, hated. He was powerless against her. he had so much power within the school but powerless over June, his nightmare, his demise, his insanity. She was the one who was he rival and he was powerless because he couldn't do anything to her or make her want to crawl into a hole and cry because she had all the more power than him. she made me want to crawl into a twisted realm and sit there and weep in sorrow and hatred and everyone was powerless against her. But after the year went by she would become my friend, just casual friends . When I went to high school I never saw her anymore because of my luck. and I hoped never to get involved with Jule again. She was a person of huge ego and many names for that matter and luck would take her away from my life. Then I thought my life was perfect, the ideal life anyone would want. And when I met Ragne he was just some pathetic person compared to me yet... what I did not know would yet again bring misfortune. He did have the perfect life just like me. He had good scores, a promising future and something I did not yet have, love, Myra. What I did not understand was why such a perfect person fall for such a low life girl. Nightmarish dreams of twisted misfortune and love my life had become. But of course this relationship would not last long. But for the moment it was there and lingered in the air, I could feel it's very presence. Myra, the girl who ruined the lives of so many except Jule. Curse her they were friends. Then it was well known throughout the school that me and Kyle were rivals with Myra and Ragne. Our supporters bickered only too often. The neutral ones were caught in the middle and all agreed we should end this fights and start a treaty. And only too often there were people who thought Me and Ragne should be together at the end of the day. Myra and Kyle would be left alone with nowhere to turn and desperate for friends. Well I'm here to prove them wrong. At the end of the day I will be with Kyle and we will be together and Myra and Ragne would leave our lives forever. And at the end of the day, they would break up and show the world that their oath was untrue. They would not be soul mates and I aimed to make sure of that. They were the ones who would go to the good colleges and if we would be their friends, they could help us. And the blinded fate of those too stupid to try to build a reputation by forming and winning fights and wars were the ones who would fail and their reputation would be buried among the ashes of the ones before them. And so the war lasted for 4 months, the record was set at a 2 yr period and we aimed to take the victory from them. Our war was the most exciting since the beginning of the century and it is my hate, my courage, my loss, my gain, my love and my soul that brought me to the fights. It had made me the top of all the school along with the one I would love, the one, the only I shall ever love, Kyle and that no one can take from me. Ragne, my rival, so close to me I can smell his hair, feel his presence, yet so far away I could not touch him, not even scratch him. He was truly me, and I was him. He was just like me and the war was pointless. Each of us part of what was once a whole but split through the mistakes the whole made, free will. We knew this, everyone knew this and to merge was to break the contract and throw away the reputation we had tried so hard to build, to care for, to nourish. Our reputation was beyond measures that anyone who chose on side, would hold that same reputation and to merge was to break it. To merge was to throw away a child we had cared for together, to stab it's heart with love and care. To merge, was to die. This was our thought, our belief, our soul and very heart. To merge was to die. To break the contract was to diminish. and to befriend was to alienate. But then what my perfect life had not expected was the tiny little curve in the road that I would take the wrong path, the path of my death, yet it took me to my goal, my soul, my love. I knew it but if I didn't go I would lose the war. This was the end of everything. I was sure I was to die unless of course the teachers were blind but alas my hopes were annihilated. It was Kyle and Myra in one room and me and Ragne in another. Everyday we'd be together for a short period of time but other than that I was with Ragne for the remaining of the trip. We'd take our classes apart from our friends and we were stuck together. As if fate had chained us together. but I was determined not to be friends with him and he was determined not to be friends with me. We would fight on a daily basis to make sure of our rivalry. we worked together to save our rivalry and reputations. We truly believe that fate could not hurt us. Kyle and Myra were no different. They fought to keep silence in their home. They never talked to each other and that seemed to work. But in me and Ragne's nature was to talk and bicker. We only fought and argued. But as the month wore on, in our isolation we began to forget our beliefs and would laugh at each other's jokes. The steam relaxed but we still tried to disagree. But I knew we were weakened. When we got back to school, The war seemed to still go on as the two parties still managed to keep itself separate. And Kyle and Myra were no closer. But during their isolation Myra and Ragne grew apart. And they had to separate. They found themselves alone but stronger without each other. I had met June after the trip. We seemed on good terms and she was neutral. She still thought that me and Kyle should be together but I had to deny because to love him would bring our demise. Myra and Ragne were strong against us and stronger apart. It just proved that if I would be with Kyle we would lose. I'd have to wait those painful nights until we didn't need our reputation anymore. Then there were the neutral ones who would love to see me and Ragne together. to them it was a little game of flirting which would end me and Ragne together. I couldn't love him. He truly believed that we were meant to be. He would tell me time and time again that we were soul mates and I would threaten him for it. "But you're different you know? Myra was my opposite and we worked great together but better apart. But u know if we were to work together we would make something no one could defy." Ever since I first heard his name uttered among my friends. He was the one that they all knew. I had just come to the school and he seemed to be known even though he didn’t' even go to the school. Then I knew that I'd soon meet him when we again took those steps to our new school. We lived in a happy little world. We talked to no one from the outside and never turned to others for help. Sure maybe our technology was backward but it was ok we are happy as is. And w all loved our new prince. First Kiss what do you do when your so in love that you'd do anything to get them but yet.. your too scared to talk to them because your too scared that they might break your heart? That's how much I loved him. he was my life, my heart, everything that i could ever wish for was inside him. Then we sat around, not talking to each other, staring at the fire until eventually Eon fell asleep. Joran and me were wide awake, huddling next to the warm fire. Then we decided just to huddle together like before after the incident with the fire. Then we asleep. I woke up at 5 in the morning, in time to see the colors of dusk. the colors swirled and melted together and I looked at it for a long time. Then I broke from their grip and went to stare at it. I looked back at them, huddled together like a pair of friends in the bitter cold. Joran with his innocent face and Eon with his sensible expression. I felt neither cold nor sleep but I felt cared for by them. I knew Eon had changed. He had just changed. I stared at the sky, wondering what my life would be like. When the first super attendant came, we hid from him and then mixed in with the student arriving at school. We headed towards the cafeteria and ate food as we were hungry. After 2 weeks, my friendship with Joran and Eon were strengthened and became daily routines and normal. Then one day, Eon and I were waiting for Joran to come from his after school activity, as usual, and the bell had just rung for the 1st late bus. Before I could react he kissed me and I froze with terror. What effect would this have on Joran. I didn't want to know. In a flash I thought of the agonizing pain he would go through if he found out. I closed my eyes to block out the world and think. Block out eon's presence in my mind. Then I felt a presence. Joran. He was there I knew it. I could feel him so close to me but I couldn't move. He stood there speechless. When all of it was over I looked at him. I stared into his eyes. He was innocent, so innocent but yet the part that hurt him the most was his own heart. But I couldn't do it. For some reason my heart had a place for him. I could feel the jabs of love drawing near. I didn't know what to do, I didn't know what to say. I strode out and I could feel the hurt in Eon. I could feel what he was feeling. But I couldn't say anything to make things work. I found Joran sitting in the staircase. if felt his pain and despair. I moved to kiss him and when I did, I could feel the full power of his pain, but joy. When all of it was done I looked in his eyes and his pain had decreased. I kissed him again until the bell rung for the 2nd late buses. I left and went home, confused over what was to happen. All of it was too sudden. I felt my heart tear into two. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know what to feel. Weeks before I would've picked Joran but now I felt the jabs of love for Eon. I didn't know what was to happen to me and I didn't want to know. He had given me too much for me to throw it away. Then I recalled Eon. He was the intellect who could make me laugh and his kiss stunned me and made me love him more. He was the one i love but could never have. it was as if i strived forhim to lvoe me but he could never love me back. I strived to talk to him, strived to make him see me. But all he could see was my best friend who in turn wanted him to like me just because she saw us together in the supposed "future." what where they talking about, me and him together? it was liek a fairy tale. how could that ever happen? how could it ever be that he loved me? he loved my friend, the perfect example of a girl. She was beautiful, quiet, charming, poised, smart.. what else would they want? i on the other hand, was loud, annoying. I don't know what anyone was thinking to like me. He was so far away from me, yet so close to all my friends. it was as if he avoided me and i didn't blame him. I don't know what i was thinking in even trying to make him love me.Why did i even bother. i mean my friends all so poised beautiful and perfect, talented. It all made me angry that i couldn't be like them. At first i was just this loud obnoxious girl but then i tried to become quiet like my friends. So i went back to being the loudmouth kid who made everyone laugh. I went back to being the clumsy loud little immature girl who made ppl laugh. But everyday i'd pray that i could be like my friends. I wished that i could be like them so poised and liked. How could he ever fall for someone like me. Whenever i tried to talk to him in person, he'd turn away from me and avoid me, always turning to my friends. They were so perfect and i was so jealous. I wanted to be like them. I wanted to be loved by only one person, him. Then one day my whole world came down on my shoulders. I wanted to cry and struggle through the bond of my friendship which had become chains. My friend, Lane and Jason, the one I loved, went out. I tagged along as her best friend and saw the real him for the first time. He was the same as Lane. He liked the same things he wanted the same things. I loved my friend like a sister i never had and i loved him as someone i coudl never have. Then senior year came and Lane and Jason were as happy as ever. Jason, despite how much Lane loved me, avoided me and never talked to me. He was the same person as before. He never talked to me, when he did he would stutter as if he wasn't concentratng on me and as if he were distracted. So i stoped trying to catch his attention. I stopped trying to befriend him. I tried to forget him. I finally met someone and he loved me but i didn't think of him the same way. He loved me so much yet i didn't love him. But in my despair i just decided to give myself away. I would never love anyone else but Jason but he would never love me. Then one day he, Lucas, proposed to me. I cried alittle but said yes. For the next few months i busied myself with the wedding plans and tried not to think of Jason and Lane's marriage which i was invited to. I loved him so much. My heart was enlightened and i kissed him, taking the ring in my hands and putting it on my finger. "I've loved you. always loved you. will always love. I adore you. I lvoe you so much and i thought you couldn't love me back but you do. And you've shared my feelings all along. " i exclaimed in my happiness. We walked down the aisle the next day and got married.
