Kris and I had our first experience "under the big top" when the Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey circus visited Orlando. We arrived early so that we could walk around and meet with all the circus people before the show. We also got to visit the circus animals. My favorite was the alligator. Here I am waving a beautiful peacock feather in the air.
The circus performers had really colorful costumes. This pretty lady handed me my peacock feather. She sure does have a nice smile.
I had the best view of the pre-circus activities while riding on my Daddy's shoulders.
I haven't formed an opinion on clowns yet. I'm not sure if I like them or not. As you can see by the perplexed look on my face, I think they're a little strange!

The circus is supposed to be the greatest show on earth, but I personally found playing with the auditorium seats to be the best part of this event.
Actually this was one of the few moments when Kris was awake. He slept through most of the three ring performances. However, he was rudely awakened at the end of the show by a really loud boom made by the human cannon ball (or "the human candy ball" as Chuckie on Rugrats would say).
