|The Cavite State University –
College of Business and Entrepreneurship (CvSU-CBE) held
its third annual Acquaintance Party last Friday, August
4 starting at 7:00 p.m. at the CBE grounds.
The theme of the event was “A Step Forward, A Step
Closer”. It was attended by a total of 365 students and
around 15 faculty members.
The event included the induction of the College of
Business and Entrepreneurship Student Council (CBESC)
Officers and the Student Publication Unit – Board of
The opening program started with a doxology in the
form of an interpretative dance performed by selected
students and was followed by the National Anthem led by
the CBE Chorale.
Opening remarks were delivered by CBE Dean Alice T.
Valerio and a special message was given by Imus
Vocational and Technical School (IVTS) Supervising
Administrator Pazencia G. Andrade, who attended the
event in the stead of Imus Municipal Mayor Homer T.
The Best Dressed of the Night Award was given to
Hotel and Restaurant Management (HRM) freshman Jeremy V.
Luyon and Business Management sophomore Sheryll Ann T.
Pillas. The Face of the Night Award was given to
Information Technology sophomore Ivan Lendl C. Co and
HRM sophomore Glenda G. Landicho.

CBESC, who were tasked to organize the party, for a job
The party ended at 12:30 a.m., after closing remarks
were delivered by CBESC President Charisse Portia A.
